Yeppers. 4.5" full range drivers. There's two of them to drop the impedance down to 4 ohms, and raise the sensitivity to 94dB/W.

Resin? If it's glassed and sanded, I doubt anything would show through, as well as making the box solid as hell. Whatever - take your time, I'd rather have it come out nice and wait than a rush job that looks bad.

well, apparently guitar heads aren't the best for conversion, but i might find someone else to build a small set of monoblocks 6wpc from triode-strapped EL84's would be really nice, going into either 4 or 16 ohms...:cool:

I'm still waiting for this guy on Ebay to email me back...possibly could build me a custom set of 6BQ5/EL84 monoblocks, converted from guitar amps
