I like that idea. Wednesday is good for me

You used Black Gates and Auricaps, didn't you... true OG's wind their own inductors...
-
None of them have active moderation "teams", per se... Decware has a single admin, but you get as many e-fights there as in a retirement community. DIYAudio has an active admin but again, I've never seen any bad blood on there. AudioAsylum has a few active admins that have an interesting policy - whenever a "my power cable is better than yours" type thread pops up and gets out of hand, they'll lock it down for 24 hours to let the parties cool off. If they continue, bannings follow. No questions asked. But then again, the demographic of those forums is completely different...you're not dealing with the underage teenage swine (my fellow generation, yay :/ ) that we're getting on there.

I have no aspirations to be a mod here...unless they decided to make me lord of a home audio fiefdom. But there isn't enough traffic here to warrant that.
-
I just didn't have any fancy powers...
-
Maybe...although I was a dick before I became a mod
-
Which is fine, I guess, as I don't have anywhere near the time I used to to check it during the day.

CA.com is really starting to piss me off...

true OG-style...whatever makes it work Hell, for something like that you could probably get away with a simple 1st order Xover setup, if you're short on power.
-
With matching gold ring terminals. Crimp-style, of course...even though you'd need a log splitter to generate the force required to crimp 'em. You're eXtReem like ****!
-
Better yet...if they had any in blue.
-
NW: black hawk down I'd put the Rava on, but without external speakers it would be very silly.
-
this is how we do...
-
w00t We'll do it soon...
-
Are those Xovers optimized at all for the speakers, or did you sort of kludge that together?
-
experiment...usually a few inches is good.
-
I've found that rear-firing ports have better midrange dispersion...and you can get better in-room gains by corner loading them. Same thing goes for PR's, too.
-
Not bad... once I get speakers for them, I promise I'll show more pics of your creations that I have

n00b! Don't you only need moderation for the first few posts? And I'm not the one to ask about crossover design. I'm lurking the Klipsch forums trying to figure out the intricacies of the Forte II's design in case I ever want to fudge with it...but other than that, I'm more of a single-driver, no crossover kind of guy...that's why I have both kinds of speakers at home
