Well, ideally you should timbre-match the drivers with something else...like another pair of Heresy's Some receivers have features like that. I'd prefer external EQ's over anything built in, though.

Pardon me while I pick my jaw off my keyboard... For a n00b, you're giving some old hands a run for their money Your dad must know a thing or two about it, hehe...'tis a good thing. The Cornwalls were some of the best high-eff speakers out there - a real 96dB/W or so of efficiency. The Heresy's are smaller as you know but lack the deep bass...and they're a little more power hungry. Still excellent speakers though Damn...you now have so many more options for that kilobuck
