I've got 8ga stainless steel nipples.

I've put a steering stabilizer on the van...doesn't really help cornering all that much, though it does improve tracking on a gusty day on the highway. Welcome to big vehicles and bad handling.
-
If they run, they're VC...if they stand still, they're well-educated VC... oops, wrong kind

What else has that amount of flexibility, MP3 playback ability, and easy to read/configure display? I don't like Pioneer's handling of MP3's, and I think Eclipse decks are ugly, IMO. I remember CJ posting a picture of his Clarion deck that about made me cream my pants, but I can't remember the model number. That would be something I'd look into...although I don't know how it would compare to the Alpine.
-
Thanks... What do you guys think about $350 for an Alpine 9835 in mint shape?
-
That's wimpy. Considering the stock on the 4.9L I6 is a 135A. I would have expected more.
-
Am I just asking to be ignored or something? Why won't people reply to my damn PM's?

I wonder what the specs are for the alternators made for the E-150 ambulance retrofit kits...probably around 250-300A, I would assume. Those things need an assload of current ability. And would be a direct bolt-on.

My 20th b-day is coming up...oh wow, that's about the most useless age next to 17. :/ Oh, and if my dad's finished putting up the T&G paneling on the porch ceiling back in NC, I may have a 2hp pancake compressor to bring...

Partly that, and also partly because I never took the intro-level class for it I'll re-take it over the summer.
-
I'm probably going to drop the class...I've missed enough lectures to really not know what the hell's going on, and I really didn't have a good grasp of what was going on when I was there. I've got an exam for it tomorrow, but I'll probably drop it in a week or two.

two chins...two subs...

You're coming from Fairfax, correct? You're going to be getting on 81 southbound, and the C'burg exit is 118-C. I don't know how far you need to drive to pick up 81, or how many miles you'll be on it...I'd expect around four hours, though.

The problem with you is that you lose suction.

Things I did today: - paid two months' worth of back phone and DSL bills...damn PO, you'd think they'd get my address right the first time; no, let's convienently forget your address and never send September's utility bills to you. Asswipes. Oh well, that's taken care of now. - studied for my macroecon test tomorrow...actually have to study about an hour or so of calc before i go to bed tonight. - bought a pair of mint condition interior door panels for the van...w00t w00t, now i just need arm rests. Ryan, you'll have PM once I find a damn pair of AA batteries, lol. - My 2A3 amp came out of the powdercoating shop today, and is being delivered to Fedex tomorrow morning. 'Bout damn time the chassis was done. 90 day lead time turned into about 120. - The asspackers that put a notice on my Ebay account because I sent them payment in 8 days instead of seven withdraw their complaint...hey, at least I don't get a neutral feedback for a $20 item. - Cheese is good, and penguins are fierce...in bed. - Cost accounting can blow me. That is all.

So...I need new door panels. I figure while I've got those off, I might as well sound deaden the doors. Then, I figure I might as well upgrade my coaxials to components 80wpc to the Boston FX6's just isn't cutting it anymore... My criteria: * 2 ohm impedance preferred. * At 2 ohms stereo, my PG Tantrum 500.2 does 250W/side. * Going to be mounting the tweet in the A-pillar trim...I prefer the sound of silks over metals...at least for all the ones I've auditioned. * The mid is going in the stock door location, with a 6.5" cutout...I don't know the max. mounting depth as of yet, but the FX6's are 2 1/8" inches deep. So that fits without a problem. * I listen to a lot of classic rock and jazz...so a goodly amount of midbass is a good thing * Budget is...whatever's reasonable I could see myself going to $250 for this...

There are a few part numbers on this thing...I don't know which one to look for. The entire assembly is really three parts in one, it looks like - the outer rubber grip, the black plastic inside part, and a white plastic part underneath where the bolts go into it. I'll try to get some pics up.
-
Contacts, hrm... well, I'm looking for a pair of armrests for a 1994 Econoline E-150. Gray's preferable, but black is fine if that's the only thing in stock. I took some pics, but my camera died, so no pics until I can find a set of batteries and upload the pics...

Youngin'. Let the hazing begin. The pole pieces are ready... j/k. Maybe. Think you are the youngest...I'm 19.

c'mon...reply to my damn PM already... I hate waiting on people to reply. And I'm probably going to PM him tomorrow or something and he'll be like, "yeah, I got rid of the deck already" even though I had PM'ed him about it two weeks ago. Ugh.

More reasons for me not to go over there
