What the hell is this with Ebay not taking cash or checks anymore? Is that just for payment to Ebay for fees or actually in the auctions themselves? The lack of negative feedback was bad, but this is just plain stupid.

Yay, another year for the Chokies...

Ramos, you wouldn't happen to know where cheap flatbed trailers grow around the NRV, do you? I may have a need for a 4x6-ish one pretty soon. Checked out the 'noke Craigslist, not too many though.

The "X"con 12" prototype has arrived

I guess if it has a huge advantage in swept area without sacrificing linearity over the Icon it'd make sense, otherwise I don't really understand why people who are looking for accuracy are going to spend that much more for simply power handling. Big rooms. More Icons then -
Recommendations are listed on Fi's page, surprisingly enough.

I'm not sure if there were any changes at all between early '80s model years, but it's an '82? I can't seem to find any info about red ones made that year, unless yours was repainted at some point.

Of course, I see a picture after I send a PM asking if you've posted pictures anywhere... But bigger/more would still be nice
-
Any particular reason you're looking for a receiver? I'd take a separate integrated amp and tuner over one in most cases...and for $300, anything new is going to be a huge compromise.

I'd go sealed if sound quality is anywhere near a priority, but you say you listen to rap/hip-hop so I'm confused

Depends on the environment it's in In a large vehicle or at home, an 18" or two is a very good option provided it's up to the task.

Why not? As long as the inductance is kept reasonable...

Did it get scared and run away?

Not really... If features-wise they come down about even, I would try to find an example of each and see which one you like using more. I always thought the user interface of Eclipse was more confusing, although functionally they can be top-notch. Just might take more getting used to if you're used to a specific interface. -
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ download this player, it plays almost everything Indeed, I use VLC for video and it works very well Whole lot less memory intensive than WMP, that's for sure.

It's all a matter of how much you want to spend. Could you get 1000+ hp in that thing? Sure, if you're willing to pay for it. There's also the question of what he's trying to do with it, why he wants the extra power...is it "just because" or is there something you want to do that it's not cutting the mustard for? I think back to the Unimog...HP ain't everything

Those home prices are nuts.

Shit, I'm a noob...oh well, that's what happens when I hardly use the mod functions in here...

I've turned into "SQL"...

I'd be worried these parts are from the last production run they had all sorts of problems with...then again I have no idea of the story behind RU. My username is supposed to be JimJ, it's been showing up like that ever since they changed it once as a joke and it didn't change back entirely I thought the current Mag was better than the old ones, yes, but I'm looking at it from a sound quality perspective, not SPL in the least. For what he'd want to do, it'd be worse.
-
I think so. The 12's did very well on low power.

I'm having a donut craving like none other. And all we've got here are Krispy Kremes :(
