MECA SPL rules used to state that you could only use two layers of deadening max, so that's why I was curious. 400sq. ft for only two layers covers a lot of panels Also, I'd be careful before deadening everything...I've seen deadening that increases your score, but if you're not careful, you could lose tenth's of a dB here and there.

400sq. ft of deadener? You're in MECA, right? Does DB have the same rule about deadener that the Street classes do?
