I keep losing posts... Njizzzm said he deleted an old thread, so that probably took out 10 or so, but I don't know what the latest one was... Regardless, I don't care. Won't get me to start posting there again.

I don't get it? Doing a search for the top 40 posters in descending order has been around for quite some time now...

Now in Philosophy. Slow day in here today, apparently.

Went to sleep last night around 10PM, woke up at 6 and haven't been able to get back to sleep since. Oh well, guess I should drive to campus way early for my 10AM sociology lecture...that I missed on Monday...blah

I still can't pronounce your last name...

I'd be worried about her springing a leak... Chiropractic bills like woah.

Don't go back to Chitaudio.com. Just don't.

Tech's on campus food is pretty good...problem is you really have to time when you're going to eat so you don't wait in a line for 15 minutes.

Team Pwnage. They were more active on Chitaudio.com.

The Basic question pool is insanely easy...a knowledge of Ohm's Law and what end of the soldering iron not to touch is all you need. I haven't read the upper level question pools in a while so I'm not sure what they contain, but I'm sure it's not too bad...certainly can't be worse than the Amateur Extra FCC exam that kicked my ass...how the hell am I supposed to plot in polar coordinates using imaginary numbers the reactance of blah blah capacitor at blah blah megahertz assuming blah blah inductance...make me think, why don't you. Passed the 20WPM Morse code exam, but that written test was a royal PITA.

What cert do you need? Advanced or Master? Getting a job here would get me off my ass and force me to retake the Basic install one again, I used to have it but let it expire.

High of 80 today. I actually ran the A/C a little in the apartment, felt very strange... Forecasted not to break 55 tomorrow.

Niche market, they can charge what they want.

Texas was too damn hot the few times I've been there. What made it worse was going from DFW to Buffalo one time...110 to 25 degrees. Not fair.

blargh... Tomorrow I get to drive around and see who's hiring...hopefully I'll find an audio shop that's in need of me. I needa jorb like yesterday, not to mention it would help me out if I claimed VA tuition filing an in-state 1040 this year. Two birds.

As much as I hate to say it, caraudio.com has a pretty useful link to a how-to for sound deadening. The actual URL escapes my mind at the moment...

What type of engine? I think they had the 5.8L V8 in the '350's that range of years...good size stock alternator. Regardless of the engine, it's pretty damn easy to install stuff in these vans. Front speaker locations are 6x8's, which easily accomodate a 6.5" driver with minor cutting of the door panel. Build a thin baffle to securely mount the speaker. My '94 E-150 had a 1 DIN radio mount, making it easy to adapt to whatever your source unit may be. Sound deadening the doors is a piece of cake if you have manual windows, just fill in the large holes with a piece of Lexan or plexi to increase midbass response. The difference is light and day. If you have any specific install questions (like how to get panels off and where wires are run), feel free to ask. I've lost count of how many times I've tore mine down and re-wired it
