Yours? Not really my style of bike but they are cool

I personally wouldn't deal with RD. There are plenty of other good alternatives if you're unsure about Fi. Are you looking more for accuracy or SPL?

No need for more audio stuff here

I made my "special" syrup...

At home, I don't have a lot of experience with active setups outside of horns, good amps aren't quite as commoditized as in 12V so I haven't been able to afford it yet I don't think any of the Zaph designs would steer you wrong.

How much do you have to spend on this? I've learned not to build or get anything too nice for the folks' place...they end up wanting it for themselves

Looks like New Orleans might get swatted by a big one again... Meh, it's a good thing I'm not in charge of FEMA...

And put the 6-speed in it

Yep, those Surly cans are deceiving at first. But crack 'em and pour 'em and they are fine. Anyone happen to notice what some bars are doing with Guinness? For joints that don't have it on tap, they've replaced the widget cans with a plain old can called the Surger. The crack the can, pour it and then put it on an electrical plate (the Surger) that creates the classic cascading head effect. Weeeee fun! http://www.guinness.com/us_en/surger/ If I go into a bar that doesn't have Guinness on tap, it doesn't become a place that I go back to

One of these days I'll decide what shade to stain them and do that...and put the spikes on...and binding posts...meh.

I wouldn't be too worried about the power level on the tweets. 50W and up should be fine. Unless you're trying to attract bats you'll be dialing down the top end relative to the midbass

Remember what was pulled out of the sled...believe me...nothing you could have done would beat that

Think I have to take the Sigmas out, sounds like they could use a little more stuffing and foam behind the motors...

Couldn't imagine having an OTL on during the summer...yeesh

I know what he meant, still holds I was thinking of Alpine as well...or the Rockford "BBQs", or JBL BP1200.1's, PG T1200.1's/Titaniums, etc, etc Almost all can be found for very reasonable prices and will last a long time if properly used.

Then again, Friday afternoon calls for "I'm Shipping Up To Boston" at 11.

It's bad when I have to open the windows up after 20min of having the SETs on...

There are tons of good 2 ohm-stable amps out there, not a problem from the way I see it

watts vs. true watts

It's marketing-speak, plain and simple... -
Even in the couple months since I last checked hard drive prices, they've come down a bunch. Now if only the prices of SATA controllers went down as well I'm running out of space on the 250GB WD, want to go with a RAID array but that's still $300 for the controller and a couple hundred for the drives...and there ain't no way I'm having a TB or more of stuff without some kind of redundancy. Is anyone a RAID guru here? What controllers should I be looking at

They won't here, because it's wrong
