I was incredibly lazy today... Need to type up my speech for Friday tomorrow

*shrugs* If I ran all Milbert amps, I wouldn't worry about the fact that a typical "enthusiast" rasied on a diet of the Fast & the Furious had no clue what it was... But that's just me...
-
Who cares what corporate backed sponsorships have done? I certainly wouldn't be impressed with a line of amps if someone told me they've won X number of DbDrag finals, or IASCA SQ championships, etc...I'd want to hear that user's install and let my ears decide But if you want competition info, Termpro would be the logical place to go, at least for SPL...

Ahhhhh....USENET. Brings me back to my alt.radio.pirate days...

Package fell off the mule, eh
-
OK, time for teh grub And I might actually have to do some work tonight suck *poof*
-
Can't help you out with that one...
-
I need food...not sure on where to go, though.

Back in NC They've been using the same spot for a few years now, got me a couple of years ago doing way over the posted in a turbocharged Volvo, coming off the onramp of all things. Inertia is a bitch sometimes...

Solo boobs? I like my boobs in pairs, thank you very much... Maybe they got angry, decided to go out on their own...
-
I got mine from Lowe's...maybe the one in Chapel Hill just had a better selection, don't know. Are there any hobby stores in the area? A crafts-hobby-type place would be a good place to look...

but "SQL" is so acceptable now. and it's a fairly accurate term. so why the peeve? and x2 and the second part! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The peeve comes from the fact that I think n00bs come to think that having 140+dB of substage is somehow "SQ"...when it fact it's just noise. You can strive for both, but you're going to compromise on both ends of the spectrum to meet somewhere in the middle. The term also implies that SQ setups have no output potential - which is obviously false. Just IMHO.

If that's the truck in his sig, he could have everything hidden away and he'd still get jacked with those wheels. Stealth installs only work when the vehicle is also stealthy But damn...in an impound lot? Either it's a dirty cop, or a thief with true balls.
-
I hate the term ""SQL""...just a peeve of mine. Buy a vehicle you like to drive, build the system accordingly...
-
Hmm, I need to find someone locally with an AC clamp meter...even though I really should buy my own, would come in handy.
-
He's hiding from me. Won't call me back after he said he would, won't answer his phone, won't respond to my PM. What else do I have to do? Guess it's time to make a trip. Can you smuggle beer on a plane? "No sir, it's a gift." <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He got back to me this weekend, I still need to email him about a competitor's form for a Mag...
-
Hmm...should probably check it out.
-
Well, with the damage the new preamp and power conditioning stuff is going to do to my checkbook, need to see if I can fit this in as well Or just go with an el-cheapo CDP for now.
-
Let me get back to you...
-
Details? I may be interested in a new CD player...will hold me over until I get the SL-1200, anyway.
-
And studying? Pfft...not today.
-
Thanks... That's actually a really good price on the Rogue 66, but I've found a place that's selling an Audio Research LS1 with the black faceplate in almost mint condition for a price I can afford. LOL @ the Audio Note...

I read your post on there... Cold cranking amps and actual amp-hours are two very different concepts. 200Ah batteries are effing huge - 100lb+ easy for even conventional wet cells. Just don't want you to look uninformed
