    Still trying to decide...............

What's your limit? Depending on if you want to keep your current box or not, I'd probably get four 10" Rainbow Vanadiums and be done with it. Generally, on the kind of music you said you liked to listen to, making your substage louder without a corresponding change in the front stage is going to make things sound bad...

    Welcome to the IHoP

Are there any high end audio stores near you? I know of some near DC...not sure if that's where you are in MD though. If you're ever down here, you're (and anyone I like on SSA for that matter ) welcome to stop by. Brewskis and tunes on me. I liked the ones I heard in Tom's Impy. They sounded goody.

    2 12inch kicker cvx's-what amp?

Two 2 ohm SVC subs can't be wired to a 2 ohm load, either 1 or 4. As long as the impedance stays above the minimum that the amp can handle, it's fine.

    Plate amps

Apexjr.com is another good place for plate amps.

    Welcome to the IHoP

get up (in a couple hours) drop off my change of major form, probably get stuck in a huge line call up my adviser and beg to be transferred before i can't add classes anymore find out if my meal plan is actually working What sucks is I know I'm registered in a couple classes that I need, I just don't know what or when they are because of the way the system has me locked out. So the trick is transferring into the major I want before I get dropped from what I do have now...oh yeah, and find one more. Or two. what're you transferring to? teh biznezz skool... Well, at least I have one class I know I can go to tomorrow...my effing fine arts requirement. Other than that, who the hell knows yet.

    Daisy Chaining n Strapping?

Daisy chaining refers to hooking the line level output of an amp that has one to the input of another amp. Strapping involves combining two monoblocks for increased power...

    Which to get....?

For that, I'd choose the BL...you don't really need the accuracy of the Q.

    Which to get....?

I don't think it's really fair to directly compare a MAW-15 to a Q, they're simply not in the same price bracket... I preferred the SSD and Q to the MAW. But if you're after maximum cone area for your dollar, you can't ignore Mach 5.

    Welcome to the IHoP

Not quite as big as Ryan's monoliths for the 12's, but for a 6.5" enclosure they're pretty respectable

    Welcome to the IHoP

If they can't hear a difference between a 34Hz tuned enclosure and a 27Hz one, they either have lead ears or are listening to the wrong material to tell...
