Just thought about something...if you have any right-angle clamps, that'd be sweet. I don't have any, just regular bar clamps...a couple right angles would make this a breeze.

gah, one humanities class and it's the weekend I'd blow it off if I didn't just transfer into it yesterday.

I've got a pile of cut plywood in the van that's waiting to be turned into speakers Could definitely use another hand or two, these cabinets are taller than I am... I can bring clamps I brought some up, but more would be nice Can't wait to finally get these put together, I've been needing music like woah

Unless you're chasing numbers, there's a simple rule with sound deadening. Get as much as you can afford. And then a little more.

You have an analog one?

When on Sunday? I might have a project that you all could help me with too

I'd rather have the Q's, but I also wouldn't be concerned about scores either.
-
*yawn* Well, at least I'm a full time student again
-
If you want LSQ, you're going about things the wrong way...

Probably nothing too special for either, I'd bet. Car audio is looked down upon by a fair number of audiophiles...and with a system like that, I wouldn't even bother with TV

Really expensive and good sounding lightbulbs

Sound quality...? TV...?

I'm sure that will take you far, Jim. Shaddup

I have a serious woody right now.

Minimum acceptable track quality with EAC
JimJ posted a topic in Computers / Electronics / Music / Games
Since I'm in the company of fellow nitpicking SQueers I figure this is as good a place as any to ask this. When ripping .wav's with EAC, what do you guys consider the cutoff point in track quality below which you just delete the rip and try again? I find that most tracks end up 100% or 99.9%, but every so often there'll be ones below that. I'm using all the highest quality settings. -
With the difference in drivers, cone area, and power, who knows if it's actually the box that's the issue here...

Have to stop by a few professor's offices today and pray they can force add me into the classes I need, hopefully by tomorrow afternoon.

Well, for the next two weeks or so I'm a hospitality and tourism management major... I hope the IT department processes my paperwork really soon...

I'd rather have the SSD in that case. But your install is going to determine how either of them would do.
-
But having active capability gives you so much more flexibility in individual components; count it as money you won't be spending on fixed passive Xovers
-
Really, neither. For what you want the BL would be a better choice...

Or you had impedance rise like I do.
