At least he's built in an automatic early warning system. If you hear this Mini Cooper coming that sounds like it's about to fall apart, you know that the driver can't see and immediately go the other way

Hopefully I can get oak corner trim for not too much...going to need like 48 feet of it, plus a little extra...
-
Knew I forgot something... There are going to be mounting rings on the outside anyway, so all the holes will get cut at the same time...

If you listen to rap, the biggest benefits of IB - very low frequency extension and very smooth frequency response - are going to be lost on you. Not to mention you're going to give up a lot of output. I wouldn't recommend it in your case.

To be completely honest with you, how do you know? What you have now, even with threaded bracing, looks awfully flimsy.

This one's going to get the 60-grit treatment, didn't come out as square as I wanted...

Weekend can't come soon enough. Going to have two boxes that kinda look like speakers, hopefully

If I had a pair of those I'd probably find it hard to leave my parent's house to come up here. Because I sure as hell don't have the room.

All this talk about horns...pfft... http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Altec-288-Driv...1QQcmdZViewItem Now that's a horn Two of those plus 15" horn-loaded midbasses is a recipe for destruction...

Why not stack 2x4's down the entire length of the back, they seem pretty haphazardly placed where they are in the photos... If it was me I'd be worried about internal crosspieces affecting airflow, Allthread seems like the better idea.

Just one layer all around?

I think you're replying to the wrong thread... But the fact you don't include DD in the "expensive stuff" list is funny, especially when they have products that are more expensive than JL, MTX or Rockford Back to the thread at hand...

Most of these words are just made up...somebody was bored one day...

I'll study , you sand . I forgot how much I really hate sanding I'd rather sand at this point, reading about possessory rights and estate law is starting to put me to sleep...

Polk SR's are very, very nice for a passive set. The rest of them, eh.

G35 Coupe for LSQ whats the best choice?
JimJ replied to SilviaVsSupra's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
A 12" midbass from B&C or JBL and a set of horns would kick ass...no subs needed, at all That'd be something I'd want to hear... -
How is that not SQ? Coustic is good...Audiocontrol would be another brand to look at.
-
I don't want to study, blah

I have an idea about food and location costs Photographers can get pretty pricey...there's some around here that won't bother with anything under $5k a job.
-
Hmm, I need food... Then cram for an exam t/m

For solid state amps, damping factor doesn't change enough to have to worry about it. The only new USAmps I've had the chance to demo was the AX-TU300C...just don't use that with the stock preamp tubes. There's too much gain in the preamp stage.

There's a big difference between "hating" and having a different opinion...
