Options on the sub won't get you more output from the amp...only the coil configuration will do that.

Watts are watts are watts. so the watts put out by your tubes sound exactly the same as the ones from my Radio Shack PA amp? You know what I meant "Tube amp watts" are about as useful as saying "solid state watts"...i.e, not at all.

Just testing the fit? Looks like you've got some sanding ahead of you

The old BM's are another story

I don't think I could recommend it. If you wanted to stay SI, I'd go with the Mag, or look into other options...

The Q would be perfect for you. Very musical, good power handling, does very well in sealed enclosures.

Want to trade for a base for an SPL vehicle? -
Just make sure you buy the 880 from a reputable place in case you need to return it for another unit... YMMV.

I'm actually amazed I haven't been broken into yet...hidden in plain sight I guess.

2003: Bought and installed an e12a.22, Avionixx 800.2, Alpine 7893 and Boston FX6's. 2004: Replaced the 7893 with a 7894. 2005: Replaced the 800.2 with PG 1200.1/500.2 combo, swapped the Bostons for Memphis Msync 6.5's, added 60sq. ft of RAAMmat 60BXT, head unit changed to Alpine 9835. Haven't done squat since '05, my 12V journey is over until further notice...

Really not looking forward to studying

Yes. I haven't kept up to date on all the newer models out there...a search around here would get you a lot of info about what people are having good luck with. If you're on a budget, I bet you could find something like an Alpine 9835 that may be a couple years old, but be well under what a new unit might cost you. The amount of value you get out of DIY'ing your front stage vs. buying a pre-built set is just silly, expecially for that kind of budget. There's a lot of compromises that go into a $200 set vs. a $1000 Dynaudio passive set, it's just building to a price point.

I need some screenshots to understand I tried setting up mIRC a while ago but never figured out the config process...maybe this time I'll get it.
-
I have no idea how to do that...but it sounds like we'd have a better selection of lossless stuff between all of us than what's out there So what does it take to set up a channel?

Something punctured it...that's a very clean cut...

I can think of a few, but I'd bet money that's not damage from over-excursion. You'd hear it...

I guess now would be a good time to learn how to use IRC...I assume they have stuff up to the level that Oink had, not just bad quality transcodes? And now would also be a really good time as ever for that SSA network...wink wink, nudge nudge...wink wink.
