I had a remote with the Rogue 66, while it was cool I don't particularly miss it with the ARC that doesn't have one. But then again I'm getting up to switch album sides every 25 minutes or so anyway

pot? LOL, not me though. well it is college, you can't get judged by what you do during that 4 years Not if you're interviewing for jobs that drug test during that 4 years ...and what comes up on Foobar but Steppenwolf - The Pusher...

One problem with the two 15's is that it's really not IB anymore, but it should still have a lot of displacement potential and go very low

I've got a Dell Latitude XPi circa 1995 that I can't bring myself to get rid of...ironically, it weighs (a lot) less than my XPS, and the battery charging circuit on both of them stopped working That's progress...

4 megs of RAM would be blazing fast for a machine like that I know people with 468 "laptops" that use them solely for logging of amateur radio contacts in the field, because they don't crash, run off of 11-12VDC with no problems and won't chew through a 100Ah gel cell in a single night. And if one ever breaks, gets dropped off a cliff, run over...just get another for free or next to free. Modern laptops are a pain in the ass for that sort of thing.

Ever seen pictures of a room with those triangular tiles on the walls, floor and ceilings? An anechoic chamber is a room that's been built to have next to no reflections at all...so it's totally out of the picture as far as anything being tested in it is concerned. In normal rooms, the shape and reflectivity of the surfaces play as much or more of a role in what you hear than the drivers themselves...

Why wouldn't it Unless you have a near-infinite budget, the value of older and vintage stuff can't be ignored. Especially when there's so much mass-market crap that's being produced today.

Why do you think I went the way I did What way are you going now? I can't remember. Business? Yeah...

Just takes up more space, that's about the only "downside" I can think of.

32Hz is awfully low for a competition-only box, I'd start experimenting and find out what the resonant frequency of the cabin is before building something...

We meet up every week at Dave's to do something...

If you're serious about this, go here and read everything you can: http://www.t-linespeakers.org And here: http://www.quarter-wave.com I don't think they're what you're looking for, though...

Getting "really loud" is not why you build a transmission line. I wouldn't mind trying a Q in one, but the point of a BL is for something loud and peaky, which is pretty much the exact opposite of what a properly-built TL is. A transmission line for two 15's also won't fit in anything short of a Suburban, Excursion or full-size cargo van, so if you drive something smaller it's out of the question.

Doesn't sound like you have one now anyway Basically, the answer to your question is that they rate them at 2kW, they'll handle enough power that by the time you are in danger of cooking it thermally, you better damn well know enough about what you're doing that you won't need to ask this question

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "sit on the top of the seat". Other than that, your design looks OK...
