The exterior look of these looks a whole lot better than the new ones, that's for sure.

I'd love to own an original Mini, but there aren't too many places around here I'd feel safe driving one...
-
Shipped, huh... Well, there's a pair of MG1.5's locally, I want to see what he'll take for those, but it probably won't be much under $350 anyway...we'll see...

Maggies are sold, and to a friend locally. Now I can try the 60-inchers...

The FCC's apparently finally starting to auction off the bandwidth occupied by analog UHF TV right now... does that mean we won't be able to get TV through the air anymore? Older TV's will need a converter, but yeah, you can still get free TV from an antenna.

If you're getting midbass out of them, that's a major installation snafu... Ever seen a typical IB installation?
-
In my opinion, yes

Well, considering that Lil Wayne's alligator-skin subs did as well... Just kidding. Maybe
-
Were there any controlled substances involved? I don't know, I could go for the short-haired, pierced artsy-type every now and then, so the female half of that major isn't all bad

Except you can't CTRL+ALT+DEL out of it.

That would be the ultimate Rick Roll... The Steve Roll.

Unless you find exact replacements, you're going to have speakers that won't match up well to the existing crossover...of course, you could start tweaking the Xover to suit the new drivers...but then you're on your way to making them a different pair of speakers When properly done, there's nothing wrong with a refoam job
-
I know there are a bunch of people that have RS series speakers over on http://www.audiokarma.org, they could help you out finding the closest replacements available. What do you mean they "died", though? Surrounds need to be refoamed?
-
Forgive me for the link, but I'm honestly curious about this... http://www.caraudio.com/forum/member.php?u=36845 Who is that guy? Did he get butthurt over here or something?

Why refuse? I ask for a low-budget amplifier and they say 200 euros minimum for something decent. I don't know, depends on what kind of amplifier you're talking about there

I would go on a site like DIYAudio and ask around what people are using for stepdown transformers so you can use 120VAC gear.

Polyphaser gas-tubes on the main AC lines Stuff is damn near indestructible... If your integrated amp has a way to bypass its own preamp section, yes. The NAD 3020 I had could do that, so you could run it as either a pre-amp or power amp depending on which inputs you used. When used as an integrated, there was a little metal jumper in between the jacks. As for 220V, not unless you've got a transformer of some kind...I know a lot of RF amps that work on 220V, but not many in the audio world

So cut out the hole a little for a 5.25" midbass and use a seperate component set, and go DIY.

bed. 7am comes too soon

You've been up here, you've seen the kind of people that would
