FofR, sorry. http://www.fooblog2000.com/2007-06/fofr-version-09

@ 128k! And yeah, Foobar2k is my choice for FLAC... If you have a computer that can run it, FofF's configuration for it is one of the prettiest media players I've seen. But I need to upgrade my RAM on the music machine before I have a hope of running it smoothly

My schedule is just four classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays...that's it

Totally inaudible. Although I would choose the QSC over the Behringer for other reasons...

I don't have a current email of his or I'd find out for you sooner, but a friend of mine in NC runs an uninterruptible power supply business, for big commercial apps...talking batteries in the thousands of Ah range, all the way down to several hundred Ah AGM's. I know he's mentioned some of the load testers they use, but I'll ask what he uses the next time I'm home in a week or two. The 1000CCA machines I'm seeing are a little over a grand, not sure how much capacity you need or what you're looking to spend. That probably takes care of most of the battery market for car applications anyway, those are the smaller ones that are going to be pulled from UPS's and whatnot when a certain time has passed, regardless of condition...

You want the front three speakers (left, center, right) to be all of the same kind, using a different center is going to screw things up tonally when audio pans left to right, and in vocals... The FR125S definitely has enough oomph to get down below 1KHz, heck, there are people running them down to 40Hz but cabinet sizes go way up Should be a relatively easy crossover to build, not very complicated.

Have you heard about the supposed med school they're (VT) building w/ Carilion? I was...surprised...although they'd build a pucking particle accelerator out here if there was money in it.

Because it's home theater...I don't own an HDTV, don't really have any plans to get one... 'Tis a project for when I actually move out of the closet of an apartment I live in...

I'm wondering how HDMI will be handled in the separates market. I don't know much about it, but I would assume you could swap out the processor for something HDMI-capable without changing amplification? I'm just curious because everyone I've talked to running HDMI in some form is running a receiver, which is just blah to me.

You could always buy an industrial load tester, but why? Unless you're in the battery business I don't see why you'd constantly need to do that, for SPL all you'd need is a good RMS meter and a charger for whatever kind of batteries you have...

That's why I've been taking the bus to class.

Heck, I got PM'ed a few days ago by that asshat that lit his VW on fire if I knew Justin T's cell number. *flushing noises ensue*

Stop answering PM's, it worked for me.

Exactly, so you were around during the Overpeck time

Off to get some food and do some errands. Anyone know about macros in Excel? I'm having a problem trying to apply a macro to an entire workbook instead of just the active window...

ActiveX controls in Excel are pissing me off...
