What does where the gain is set really have anything to do with...anything? It's meaningless just to say that...

And destroy one of the reasons for going sealed in the first place? There's plenty of people running IB with no SSF's, it's all about being careful (and using products with enough rearward travel for the application desired)

Well, the Fostex 166/167E's are around that price, so are the 108ES Sigmas But with his amp power, there's no need for high efficiency, I'll agree. The FR125's would be great here.

I'd go with the BTL's with the SPL gap if you're talking about pure one-note wonders...or the "daily" gap if you're talking about "music".

I've got this itch to build something for the 3" Tang Bands this weekend though. Ugly MDF style.

My woodcraft.com order isn't supposed to come in until next week anyway, so it's not like I can do anything when I get home :-/

Done for the week, I really should be packing up and getting on the road but knowing me I'll be lazy and won't leave until the evening.

In a perfect world we wouldn't have to use Paypal.

At the cost of a peakier frequency response...

Well, what was the question mark for?

Heard iffy things about them, so I didn't bother.

OK, I got the random number generator thingy working without dupes, now I need to figure out how to select a random cell in that table...hmmm

I won't touch coaxial cable work without at least a 100W gun...you can sit there all day trying to heat up a PL-259 or N connector with a wimpy pencil iron.

Anyone here pretty handy with Excel? I have to come up with a way to put random integers between 1 and 500 in a table, no repeats, using VBA only...pretty sure it's going to involve a For loop of some kind and a Boolean table to check whether or not the number has been used. Should be fun

The A7's locally aren't the good ones, but the PA ones with the lesser-quality diaphragms/woofers Oh well.

The VA Dept. of Health can officially suck it. Time for food though.

A very popular class of amp, 1200 @ 2 for lowbucks

I've owned one for a couple years now, the only downside to it would be fan noise, if you're listening with the engine off. Other than that, I can't think of anything I don't like about it... -
Bah, crowd safety...take the restrictor plates off and watch things get interesting again...

Just awesome how the race cars don't share one single part with the production cars they're named after No American Stock Cars Are Racing They should bring back the rule about having to sell them as a requirement to race them.

Uh oh times two... http://raleigh.craigslist.org/msg/574047766.html I'm not that stupid, I don't touch that with a 20-foot pole
-
Only thing I'm not crazy about are those woofers...shouldn't be too bad to resell those.

Hopefully if you're designing things for the chasing-the-law-of-diminishing-returns crowd, the DAF is next to none, like the Fostex's I don't see tons of people on DIYAudio complaining they roasted their Sigs...wonder why that is
