Seal the box off?
-
There is nothing wrong with home speakers in a car, I don't think the speakers are gonna care much! Well obviously, I was askin if someone had experience with this... I have never had home speakers in the car or bought them for home applications lolz.... So I am kinda lost
-
How would you hook these up as the midbass?
-
What's this I been reading about putting home audio speakers in the car? Is this a pretty nice move? Or think I should still look into the other speakers and tweeters
-
Yea They did, and they actually sound pretty good, but I think I messed one of them up somehow, or the crossover is wacked up, I gotta check all my wiring but its so damn cold now... I am going to tackle dampening my car soon though
-
I still gotta learn how to glass though... I wanna put some midbass in the car also =x
-
Yea I wanted u to help me with a box for 1 15, I am not gonna put the other in untill I get another amp ... Don't worry you didn't hear anything wrong when I asked for the 1 Well I mean I know I can fit them in there with around 7.5-8 cubes net... I have just heard some ppl say "if there is to much box in the trunk the bass or air cant flow around it and it will sound crappy... or not to its potential i.e. muffled." I was wondering if this was true? I am willing to actually build A few box's to test out different cubes. I will be running a 1200D on each one. Just to let everyone know

There not gonna be "In" the rear deck I ment to say "on" the rear deck, I am going to try and make a fiberglass housing for them to sit on the deck

Yea, they are the stock headlights... they do look cool though ^^ Ok geys well I was trying to put off ding this chit but I guess I will go through with it this weekend I am going to pull out the seats and the carpet and RERUN all the wires.... I wanna get some new "brighter" Tweeters and some "softer Clearer" tweeters, I would really appreciate some input on these i.e. What would be a good brand to get?? Also I wanna look into learning to do some fiberglass, I wanna put in some mid bass in the kickpanels or the door panels and put some 6x9 on the back deck... Can anyone give me tips on how to start this? I really have no idea on how it's done or fabricated Mainly some input on tweeters would be great....

Yea, I have never tryed to take seats out with air bags in the shoulders... I would be so pissed if one of them blew haha... I will try this and pray several times during I don't knopw what kind of car you have too, but most vehicles you have to let sit after disconnecting the battery for 15 seconds to a couple of hours afterwards to let the battery backup in the air bag module discharge. If not, it can possible still discharge and set off the air bags. Think I should just disconnect it for a whole day? It is a 08 Mazda6 According to the service manual on yours, Wait one minute or more before doing anything to it after disconnecting the battery. Another thing to remember is htat on the newer one there are wieght sensors in the seats now. DO NOT REMOVE THE SEAT FROM THE RISER IF YOUR CAR HAS RISERS ON THE SEAT!! If you do, you will have to buy new sensors, which are usually around $50 to $100 each and take four of them on average. Plus then you'll have to take it to the dealer and have them re-calibrated which can take a couple of hours to do. The sensors, once un-torqued from their positions, are not re-useable. Just be caqreful with it. Other than that, have fun .... Yea that sounds like a load of fun..... Are riser's the brackets they are on?

Hey guys, I wanna take all my seats out when it gets warmer. The only thing I am cautious about is that my front seats have airbags in them... Is it ok to take these seats out? Do I just need to unconnect the wiring and be carefull doing it? Thx Josh~

Hey guys, I would love to get into competing one day, and I have a question for you audio ethusiats. I have a few old "spare" vehicles around my house.... 2 trucks, and a van. One is single cab other is extended. Not my question is, which would you chose to work on. The van, or one of the trucks with a blowthrough. I would be interesed in which you think would have the most potential.. Thankx Probably SQ class... Maybe some SPL Comp... I dunno yet. Thx Josh P.S. could someone give me the pro's and cons of each in their on opinions "IF" you have done this before.

Exactly, That is the style we wear around here to!! Also a clean white beater and some icey whites... That's a fit!

Hi FC, Just wondering about getting an enclosure and a cut out sheet for another one from you. I send an email to you from the site a couple days ago and have not heard anything. I know you guys are probably quite busy, I just wanted to make sure that you got my email. Hope it was ok to post this here. If not I am sorry. I would love to get an enclosure done by FC and it would be a tricky task. That is why I am not gonna attemp the big one. Thx Josh~

I would think so too... He could always do that and just drop the armrest to let more air flow through the car. But I'm not sure if that would make it louder or not =/
-
Yea you may want to get fisher or someone, design a box cut out sheet and take the dimensions to the "box builder". I have never seen some one, that claims to be a box builder, that actually knows what they are doing, want to put 6-7 ports in a box... Not saying that he can't build one, or that you can't, I just think if you are gonna get a great amp, and awesome subs... why put them in a sub-par box? Do it right the first time. Also... what if he just makes a single port tuned to 32 Hz to fit in the rear arm rest dimensions... wouldn't it be similar to a "blow through" ?

What an evil machine~! designed by lucifer himself~
