the fuse is fine...thats what im saying. even if it was the fuse that popped, what would have caused that? -

I haven't tried that yet since its dark out here, and was dark when the amp went down. I'll try that tomorrow...worth a shot o for sure! but why don't you run out there and unplug both yrou pos and neg leads and touch them to the dmm and see what they are reading that way you can elimate if there is an issue with the distro/wiring. then you can narrow it down to either the amp, or rca's or remo err you check the remo and it si 12volts how is your remote wired? one after another or did you do it the right way and use a relay? Its too dark here, and theres minimal space around where I can get to the wires so its a huge pain. I will do it tomorrow during my lunch hour @ work. I dont think the RCA's would cause no power from the power wire... both remote wires are attached to 1 switch to turn on both DB3000s, the directly to the amps. -

the other amp is connected to the other battery on its own. its a 4 gauge from the battery (with fuses ofcourse). 2 batteries... one battery going to one DB3000 one battery going to a distribution block / fuse holder; one side goes to one DB3000, the other side goes to the 4 channel. -

you are correct, the MA amp is 1500wrms, in the manual it says "100amp fuse recommended" I even called to double check this. My distribution block only has 1 0 gauge input and 2 4 gauge outputs. One side goes to my 4 channel amp (which is working fine), and the other goes to the DB3000. I doubt there would be any trouble further up the line if my 4 channel is being powered fine... I used the DMM on the terminal which read 0.03v -

i have 2 batteries in the trunk. The way the wire is run right now is: battery ---> fuse holder / distribution block --> (60 amp fuse) --> 4 channel amp --> (100amp fuse, what is recomended for my amp) --> DB3000.1 -
cool thanks, ill check those out. Anyone else have any other suggestions? Thanks!

I appreciate your help nonetheless...the Sundown 4500 will still be an option to keep in mind. -
Hey everybody! I've narrowed down which subs I want thanks to the help from members of the board, so thank you to those people! I will be running 2 15" AA Mayhems. Now for the amp(s), I would like to run 1 amp as opposed to 2. I was refered by one of my friends to check out the Cadence ZRS-C6...any input on this amp? A friend of mine owns a shop and they those amps run for around $1599 (Canadian). He also told me about the Earthquake PH10000D which retails for $1299 (Canadian). Any input on this amp? Also, if there are any other amps I should keep in mind around the 5000-6000wrms @ 1 ohm range, please inlighten me! Thanks, Andrew

I was thinking of the Sundown 4500, but wouldnt I need a little more wattage to the Mayhem's since they're rated @ 2500wrms? I'd rather not turn an amp all the way up... -

heh I had a bad run with Lanzar a little while back. Not sure if I want to run they're stuff again but im open to suggestions! I would rather buy something new instead of refurb...just my personal opinion. -
I'm running 2 amps right now and it just seems easier if I were to run 1, simplify things a little. I was thinking of the Stetsom amps. I've never heard much about the Crossfire amps, inlighten me! lol.

the BTL would be the better choice for a daily driver...the SoloX is more a sub for burps. The BTL, from what I've heard and seen are amazing drivers and would be a lot more musical for daily use then the SoloX

fully loaded, i think that includes everything except the PChamber...if you go the the FI website, select everything, it'll take you to the next screen and it'll tell you to take off one of the options. and there ya have it!

Right now my electrical consists of a 260amp alternator, 2 HC2400s, and 1 run of 0 gauge to the back. the AA mayhem could take ~2500wrms each no? so wouldnt I be able to put more than just 3000-3500 to each?

Yeah bud, glad we could help. good luck with it and i hope to see the build in the future! Thanks its my winter project since the car is going into storage! Will be ordering the 15s very soon! Any input on amps?? I would rather run 1 amp, playing @ 1 ohm if possible to both fo these subs.

X2...well put M5

im hitting a 145.9 @ 38hz on the TL with 6 cheap 10s running around 1400-1500wrms....and its not a wall, everything is behind my backseats in an 03 golf. I'm not comparing, I'm just saying that with what you have, your definately capable of breaking the 150dbs. Like everyone else is saying: a new box is a MUST
