Stetsom Amps.
bass_4_ever replied to lamchop_8's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I messaged BeeJay25 on youtube, the guy playing the 4 Warden's off of the 2 Stetsom 14K amps. He said the Stetsom plays great with music and that he hasn't had any problems playing music. -
hey everybody, I was just wondering if people on this board have used them before...any feedback, pros/cons about these subs? I will be using them ~30hz, mostly musical (daily use) and some competitions. Just would like some hands on info about them... Thanks, Andrew

So...Stetsom amps arent made you play music?? I was thinking of getting the 5K2D (1 Ohm) to run 2 AA Mayhems... -
X2 , what are you expecting to get out of the sub? what do you want to accomplish? what are you going to be pairing it with? etc etc

amp blown, fuse now??

I have 2 Massive Audio D3000.1's right now with the gain turned up about half way. I put a recommended 100amp fuse in the holder... today i got in the car, turned on the stereo and one amp didn't turn on. I checked all the wiring, everything is fine...checked the fuse, fuse was fine. The amp doesnt turn on at all, doesnt go into protect, nothing. I used a multi meter to check the voltage, the remote wire was reading 12v but the power wire is reading 0.03v what happened?? :S -

Thanks for the chart, it will come in handy! and Ken, I added you on msn, hope thats alright I'll call MA tomorrow and talk to them about they're fuse ratings... why would one amp pop and the other one doesnt? they both have the 100 amp fuses... -

It has nothing to do with the voltage your putting out the rca's, you have a power problem somewhere within your setup. Personally I think your amp will need more fusing than what you are using. what do you mean by "Personally I think you amp will need more fusing than what you are using." ? -

RCA's could be put into an EQ from the deck then out to the amps lol and now what the hell lol -

yes, the input on the amps comes from an Alpine 9886, yes the RCA's... and would it make more sense if the decimal place was moved over so its 6v? -

depends on which tone, each tone gives a different signal....the multi meter is places on the speaker outputs of the amp and set accordingly on both amps -

bass_4_ever replied to bass_4_ever's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
both amps are set using a multi meter, set to the exact same output signal -

not sure, but like i said, it says 100 amp fuse recommended in the manual, and I've also called Massive Audio and they said 100amp fuse is enough. i think its 104.16 amps or something... but im not running 1500wrms out of the amps, they're only turned up about half way -
