Makes me cringe. Sounds like you'll be good tho

Sounds like mine lol. Gotta save up the funds now for more battery reserve. Pulls down to 11.6 at idle and that's not something I like all too much...

That's funny. I was just looking thro subs and wondered what the difference was in the new models. Thanks Mark. Seriously contemplating new subs. Not sure which. But looking for a daily driver monster. -
Looks great man nice job. Clean. And a pretty quick build with impressive numbers.

Man that looks beefy. Specs?

Hopefully I do. I started working on my roof today but it'll be a slow process with the work schedule and all. I'll save pics till I've got some progress done. Keep chopping away!

Man hatchbacks can usually get down with minimal effort. Good luck and welcome to ssa!

Looks great man. I'm jelly...

I would just to not create a choke point. I've got 2 runs of 2/0 and a double 2/0 big 3. And 1 2/0 ground front to back tho I may change that to another run of power.

How to safely over power a sub ? Smallbox recommendations

Yea my zv4 crushed lows. Sundown makes nice stuff. Not so nice on the wallet tho.. I sold my zv4 18 for $500 . They hold value well. But the thought of buying new sundown subs never crossed my mind lol -

Lol I was referring the zv5 my fault. The level 6 in my opinion is more of I sight shocker than sound shocker in my opinion after owning mine. I'm sure not meant more for daily use as mine is 99 % daily than anything else. I was always a jl audio guy but the price is and always was high for anything jl. I still love jl subs..but I'd never buy them new. There defiantly isn't a lack of equipment in the market. Do I regret the dc... no. But wish I stuck to my original plan. -

Yea. Sucks how they have Austrian only models on a bunch of really sweet cars. And keeping it somewhat of a sleeper is going to be a must. At least when it's not running anyways. -
Wanted to see opinions on where I should set high and lowpass filters on my sundown ns1. I'm slowly figuring my issue out but open to others imput. Enclosure is 5 cubes after displacement tuned to 35. Everything on my head unit is set to flat. Any help is welcomed

From what I hear the sp4s are more of a musical sub. Same with the evils. I was up in the air between the two. Ended up with a level 6. Could have bought 2 for the price of one level 6. At least with the carbon fiber upgrade I got. Next step is a wall build. But do I want another level 6? Or cut my losses and get what I wanted in the first place. -

That's the level 6. I was seriously wanting to do the new sp4's but I heard waits of 4 months on subs. As much of a monster as the level 6 is it was at my doorstep not even 2 weeks after being ordered. Hell, I missed the FedEx truck at my door before I even got the notification it had shipped. If I could do it again I would have just bit the bullet and ordered the fi's. 6 is a great sub. But I settled. -

It's possible to poop on multiple subs with less.... Its all about the enclosure. I've seen single dd subs break into the 155s. But tuned terribly high. Like 70hz?? I'm not breaking 150s yet but just on testing getting 147's off a single sub tuned to 35. And I thought had it tuned high. Still decent but it defiantly lacks lower end. I -

I figure why not. I don't plan on anything too crazy. I just want something to cruise and enjoy what little of a summer we have. They're selling fairly reasonable. Went looking at some new ss's the other day. Not a fan. -

Lol. I guess I should phrase it better. Deadaner if I go that route. Pl if I fully commit to walling it down the road. M5 you're full of knowledge I may use on the next one. I plan on a ls motor car as my reward to 17 years of paying child support. That will be just clean on the sq side. For now it's a whole different monster. -

Only reason for that thought is if I wall it the roof will already be ready. -

Lol I'm debating what to sound deaden with. Either normal deadaner or pl a few layers to the roof. -

Not too sure on being inverted and I know it's sloppy. Especially with the electrical tape. But it's been all in testing and tuning. May flip it back...https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bweyam_-m396Q213NUZSOWJYWWM/view?usp=drivesdk -

I'm stoked. I've never had to go this far with tuning but bad and boujee full tilt. No stink. Now a little more fine tuning and I'm good. Hopefully get some video up. -
