  1. So I'm going to buy a new car but before I do I want to finish buying everything i need for my system (alt+batts) my current car has probably 70amp alt and I'm wondering if it would be ok to hook up everything without a ho alt until I can get the new car really my concern is with ruining the batts (5 duracell amg 105ah g31) I'm getting a CTEK battary charger so could I just charge them every now an then or would it be to much strain on the batts? Thank you for reading Current alt 70-80 amp 5 amg duracell 105ah per Audio qubed q1-7000 2 sundown xv1 18s
  2. How important are 45s inside an enclosure? Also how do you measure a 45 and braceing?
  3. Thank you. To be honest I'm still kind of confused on calculating 45s into my total internal volume i tried searching but no luck.. probably only need 3 45s total this is my first box I have designed entirely myself just want to to be as close as possible
  4. I'd like to get some feed back on a idea I had for a busbar I was going to use these since my battarys are top post https://www.walmart.com/ip/Pair-Universal-Brass-Car-Battery-Terminal-Clamp-Clips-Connector-Gold-Tone/178886665?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=571&adid=22222222228052157017&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=152604451174&wl4=pla-265686942388&wl5=9016899&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=111838760&wl11=online&wl12=178886665&wl13=&veh=sem Battary (5 g31 105ah per) https://m.samsclub.com/ip/duracell-agm-deep-cycle-marine-and-rv-battery-group-size-31dtmagm/prod3590232
  5. If it won't help efficiency that much I'll just go with wire but iv read busbars are more efficient I could possible drill off set to account for that top post being right next to it
  6. That's exactly what I'm saying .. with those connectors on the top post let me install a buss bar and still be efficient
  7. Sorry it's 5 duracell group 31 amgs and they have all have both top post and a side post type deal on top it doesn't look like I would have enough room with the two being so close together.. I was under the impression haveing a busbar on the pos an neg are more efficient for the battarys then connecting the battarys with wire.. basically I'm trying to use those clamps to be able to put on a busbar
  8. Thank you I'd like to get some feed back on a idea I had for a busbar I was going to use these since my battery's are weird at the top https://www.walmart.com/ip/Pair-Universal-Brass-Car-Battery-Terminal-Clamp-Clips-Connector-Gold-Tone/178886665?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=571&adid=22222222228052157017&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=152604451174&wl4=pla-265686942388&wl5=9016899&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=111838760&wl11=online&wl12=178886665&wl13=&veh=sem Battary https://m.samsclub.com/ip/duracell-agm-deep-cycle-marine-and-rv-battery-group-size-31dtmagm/prod3590232
