Long time RL-i8 owner seeking upgrade advice
joebangaa replied to SonicFlux's topic in SoundSplinter
Seems a bit small for RL-I 10"s but I've never used them so I wouldn't know. Mike is the best person to ask. Do you have a second RL-I 8" to use? -
absolutely... either that or a used s2000 I'm not a honduh fanboy but s2k's are incredible right out of the box... pretty much track-ready
-
Hm... If I ever saw my equipment in that notorious flowery van of his, I think I'll have a stroke At least they're not tubular hehe

OMG elias we're doing this ASAP.. I really want to know how it'll do against my labrynth which is tuned to 24hz.....
-
I've read that sedans generally get the most exaggerated low end response, although I find the response in my Max a tad peaky..
-
if it turns out nice, i think i'm gonna have to roll out to the boonies and make one at elias'
-
which is exactly why i want to build this one..lol.. and will this weekend... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee <{POST_SNAPBACK}> better keep us posted!
-

-

i called ID to see what the deal was on SD clearing out their products. i didn't really get a clear answer. but from my understanding, ID is moving facilities, so that could have something to do with it. i do know that there is NOT a v.4 of the entry-level ID lineup due to be released any time soon (even though it may seem like there will be since a lot of the IDs are gone). so take advantage of the sale NOW. btw, wakeside is authorized too so if and when SD raises their prices, hit up wakeside!

hey that's my trick...

monitoring your A/F ratios has nothing to do with an engine's compression ratio... if you have a controller to modify your A/F ratios (ie. AFC), then it's a great way to extract power and increase more area under the curve w/o any additional "performance" parts. i've seen gains of over 10whp w/ just tuning your A/F ratio on stock N/A cars...

i heard a w7 install recently that was actually very very nice...

jerems... i think you should re-read all your posts in this thread lol, you got me SO CONFUSED
-
mine is tuned to 24hz... i don't think i would go that low if i were to do it all over again unless i used cannon round ports... possibly 30ish Hz (and yes this is for in - home use)

you like it front firing?
