yes i did notice that like 3 days ago. i always go check on them, gets me happy to see a fully btl for 499

well i was messing around with the amp and i had only one of the L5 subs on hmm bass bust XD, after 1 minute i smelled something weird "it smells like chicken no wait its the sub" so after turning it down i found out that got blown now i ask is there any recone kit for them or the sub its done already i kind of got them for free so no sad feelings. i live in san antonio maybe i can take it to a shop i dont feel like spending 80 on shipping thats worth more than the sub oppps sorry place this in wrong area

thanks for the info, but i guess ill have the sub as a trophy to remember to keep away from the bass boost.

not the best guy on here but it could be your hu try putting the rca cables where the 4 channel amp is conected to the hu to see if there is signal if not it could be a missup wire somewhere but if id does work check the hu for some settings

thanks for the info but how can i check if its going bad. i just go to an autozone and tell them to check it ?? if then if its bad where can i take it to get it rebuild sorry im new with the alt stuff never had issues with them

i just intall my some what done system and its sounds ok no rattle at all, you guys might say wow great but there is a problem i cant crank it up i get a major voltage drop i did the big 3 already. yes i know what you mean 1000 to 1200 its normal but i haven't metered but i can tell just looking at the needle in the cars gauge you see it drop like with every hit of base almost getting to L low and to what i see probably its doing below 12 when continuous bass lines but if i keep it to normal hearing just for me to hear it wont drop i runing a cheap 0 gauge wire which i say it can be size 4 with the outer plastic of 0 gauge oh and heres the wiring diagram i used http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/ca/learni..._4-ohm_mono.jpg

thanks for the help i did some math and its 7.35 cubic feet and after displacement would be 6.95cf then the port ^^^^^ a think i came up with 33 or 34 hz

well guys i made my first box not the best looking but thats not the issue it goes in the trunk im asking if i did it right "of how to tune the box" the dimensions are 38.5 L,22w, 15h. those are the measurements from the inside and there sharing space 2 subs space 15 L5 and the port is 15L,13w,5h and theres where i fail i cant figure out how tune it is. supposedly when i did all the measurements it came out to 32hz . so if someone has time to do some math can please tell how much it is i use some internet but i cant seem to find it oh i almost for got if this help but i did the box sub up and port back its going in a crown vic

thats the same thing that came to mind, maybe it wont cause them to break loose since the wires seems pretty tick than just regular and the angle they have might have to do to help them go with the flow but other than that I LOVE THEM!!

well guys i just purchase a used amp kicker amp by the way. i realize on the birth sheet it says 2800 rms its a kicker KX2500.1 but it has a little sticker on the name of it and i can see in the back it says kx600.1 but thats my question colud kicker miss up on paper and just a sticker to it or the one who sold it to me made a copy and just stick a paper saying kx2500.1. so how can a meassure if its true? EDGAR
