Something tells me they want sweat a $100 bucks worth of sound deadener, on a $85k dollar vehicle. Cobalt yes they will, but on their high end models, no they want, but they're doing a lot better at keeping up with their European counterparts these days.

I don't know about M5's truck, but the new escalades come with what GM calls, advanced sound deadening. I picked one up last month to detail for a customer, and it was not noisy for sure. Black on black, looked awesome covered in Greot's Garage chemicals!

No I'm meant idiocrasies, the behavior of idiots! Lol
-
That doesn't bother me in the least. Some of the greatest minds ever had idiocracies! Not that I'm saying I'm one of them, I'm definetly not, I'm just a simple country boy.

Lol

Ha, just cause you can't find what I'm reading, doesn't mean I don't know how to use google. Trust me I copied it word for word, letter by letter. How hard is this to understand, it's slang homey. I never said it was a actual word in the dictionary, obviously it isn't. Trust me, we hillbilly's have a launguage all our own. Me and a friend could have an entire conversation when we where in detriot, and nobody could understand one word. Anytime I would go to a McDonalds, I would have to pull to the window and show them my registration plate, because they always thought I was pucking with them on the speaker.

I'm not using chrome, but the one I'm reading says it can have infenate meanings, one listed is "oh" "wow," so apparently one of us needs to update our web browser.

What is the purpose of not having the woofers in a straight line, is that for looks, or for room to wire? -
That's like when I googled CTS/V and it come up $65k. But after digging just a little further I found the real price $96k. Same with the ow thing if you dig a little further and scroll down to Urban dictionary you will read the exact examples I type word for word. And your right it's not a real word just slang we hillbilly use know different then texting lol or omg. Should I type "o wow" so you understand lol.

why amp shows clamped wattage low?
Billy Jack replied to ftj_85's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I seen something about mid-west spl comps, and they allowed people to do whatever during a run. Open doors, or windows or whatever. But this wasn't iasca so obviously it doesn't matter. Sorry back on topic, if your competing and doing burps you need to find the resonant frequency of your truck and tune accordingly. Also you could use sound deadening to seal up the cabin, that would help if it's leaking air. Also you need to know what impedence your subs are rising to, so you can wire low enough to get the max rms out of your amp. -

Doesn't mid west rules allow for the windows to be cracked or doors. Could have swore I seen that some where. -
Example Guy 1# yo mamma is so fat, she sweats in December! Random guy # ow burn! Also used when one cannot complete the word WoW, like us hillbilly's. Example: "ow" "that's amazing." And that's basically how I'm meaning it, like ow they got this or that!
-
I did google it and it's says it can be slang for a lot of words. But yes ouch is one of them.

How did you test? What frequency, sign wave, music, how where you playing it when you clamped the 800? -
I'm a hillbilly we use a lot of slang.
-
Ow is slang for wow and many other words.

So basically you want to have a system outdoors that want disturb your neighbors? That's a tough one in open air bass naturely wants to travel until it hits something and reflects. I wouldn't have a clue how to go about doing that.
-
What is a bass trap. Are you trying to aim it away from the neighbors?
-
Ow and they also sell the highs that stick down into the yard that look like security lights. Completely stealth system and take up inches. You could order the niles tomb and drop in a 12" Evil and set off some earth quakes.
-
Get a underground subwoofer. I saw a add the other day for some company that sells prefab under ground subs. They use the back wave of the sub and the bass travels up what looks like a teliscope on a submarine with a cover on top to keep rain out. Or you could even build your own but it would need to be something that doesn't rot.
-
That is a very impressive mid it has a motor as big as some subs! And I wish I hadn't just ordered a B2 Quattro I would have loved to have that Zapco I like all their stuff and have had great luck with all my Zapco stuff.

So I'm a coward because I want remain silent or kiss your ass as you talk down to me? Even after I have said, why don't we let it all go, and start over, and you 3 continue to go back to the subject even after a month, that makes me the problem? I'm not sure I'm understanding your logic. And your right about one thing, we would not have this conversation face to face, cause I'm not much for talk, I would rather throw hands and let the best man win. Anything else you want to carry on, and on, and on about, or can we finally let this stupid, petty argument go and get back to what we all love, audio, cars, women, or in your case men, ha I don't judge! That was actually a joke so loosen up and have fun!
