I just purchased two Boston Acoustic G512-44 12"s for $400 shipped in a closeout sale from Crutchfield. I'm a link! Their specs are... RMS Power Range: 100-450w (225w per voice coil) Peak Power Range: 900w Impedance: 4 ohms Sensitivity: 94.3 dB at 2.83 volts, 87.2 dB at 1 volt Frequency Response: 20 - 350 Hz Min. sealed box volume: 1.00 cu. ft. Min. ported box volume: 2.00 cu. ft. Mounting depth: 7-3/8" I picked these up because they're CHEAP & require a small enclosure; (I want to keep max trunk space.) I've heard clips of them & they sound crisp & hit decently. Here's a guy with two 10" BA G5's in a car Waaay bigger than my 2-dr '93 Civic.. 10" G5's, clip 1.
10" G5's, clip 3 My question is, based on their specs, what are some well-matched amps I should look at? I'm a dumb n00b so any help is appreciated! Thanks, Al.
