Never found a pair to listen to. However, I picked up a pair of MB Quart PCE-216's for super cheap. Hope to get them all hooked up this weekend On that note, this is the first pair of components I have owned so I am curious if you guys reccomend placing the crossovers near the speaker/tweets or closer to the amp? Does it even matter or should I just mount them wherever is easiest? The cross overs are pretty damn big. It only does it at that speed though idles fine, no check engine lights come on. Just noticed it yesterday when my mom was driving. I thought she was messing with the pedal. I also noticed that there is this leaf like sound coming from underneath. Im thinking its the transfercase, it looks like it has leaked oil from it before MAN, i cant spell at all today

All i could notice was that chinese finger trap...

For all you GM guys..... While driving the burban today i noticed that with speeds over 40mph the rpm's get all funky Normal throttle ( light), accelerating, tach is at 1krmps and then it does this jumpy thing. It kinda jerks and revs up to 1.5krmp and then back doen to 1krmp. Only on light acceleration and speeds from 40-55 mph Is it a problem ? P.S i cant spell today

Nicks idea is a good one. My shiva was shipped in that expanding foam bag stuff. Totally englufs the subwoofer from top to bottom, it wasnt going anywhere.

I had some neon sub rings... It said not to bunch up the wire and lay it flat. They were right, with it all bunched up the light was dim and there was a crap ton of interference. Odd how some signals dont work like that... I ran RCA, power, power turn on and speaker lead wire all on the same path, no problems at all

Sleepers for teh win ! Got ant pics of those beasts ? My moms car( acclaim) has a nice H/U in it, she leaves her doors unlocked and the faceplate on. No one would have the slightest clue that the autio in that car is worth more than the car itself.

I think the mids are 3.5ohms. DD doesnt offer them as components so i have no way of knowing what they sound good at. $45 for the tweets and xover suite my budget well.

Question.... I have some DD mids and i would like to pair them up with a set of CDT tweeters and 456 passive crossovers. I can get them for a great price from Upstage Audio. Would this be a bad idea ? If so explain. Making my own passive crossovers will cost much more money, not to mention, i need to buy tweeters as well. If i need to, i'll make some
