know a good external hard drive???
Supa_c replied to jonbearsmt's topic in Computers / Electronics / Music / Games
Western Digital passport is a nice external HD. Perfect for laptop use since all it needs is USB power. Its also tiny, so it fits in your pocket/laptop case without issues. It also looks pretty cool...which helps. Its not the cheapest option, nor the most capacity. -
I would advise you to make it as large as possible. 7 cubes is about right for enclosure size. Personally I think 5 is far to small.

chocolate milk...mmm Not only is it good for post workout, but it tastes good too !

Anyone used lighting audio Strike amps?
Supa_c replied to sqguy's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I believe RF made these. I was going to get some a while back on ebay, they go for pretty cheap. The only person I know of who runs/ran a LA amp was jmanpc on ca.com -
1/2 the power twice the ugly GTi>Fit

30 min sounds decent. I honestly have never worked out for a full hour so i dont know the feeling. Im with you on the get to the point exercises. I dont like doing things that have no beneficial gains. A general guideline would be great. P.S Thanks for making on this topic/section Steve, i know its been rolling around on this board for a while, nice to see it come into action

I dont see a nutrition topic. Unless im misunderstanding one of the topics listed. I find the main drawback of working out or exercising for that matter requires money for supplements, "shakes" and what not. I very seldom see a natural guide to nutrition. Does everyone need the extra boost or can just a basic meal cover you for the workout ? Also, time factors. Im not one to wake up at the ass crack of dawn to get in a workout, I would much rather do it after Ive eaten dinner. I hope i dont sound like an idiot here. This could probably googled, but maybe others have these same questions/issues.

The only 10's that come to my mind are TC-7's They will run IB, but they need a fair amount of space. There is a guy up in the Wentache, WA area who has some he wanted to sell. Not shure if this would be the idea woofer though. http://web.archive.org/web/20070221053840/...nds.com/tc7.htm Some info if you were curious

Give me a hammer and 5 min. Id have more fun smashing the crap out of them than actually finding a few keepers.

Ive found a few crack pipes, a purse (which had like $150 in it) a few cell phone and of course...money. Which I do get to keep I made $15 one day in coins, that was a pain in the ass to walk around with.

If anyone cant wait ive got a SVC 4Ω RL-i that has been lightly used, but not abused. $150+ shipping takes it. Or if there are a bunch of people interested the highest bidder will take it.

Basic fact. You suck at computers. tree fiddy ? Yes, that's the reason ... or ... maybe ... just maybe ... Apple sold me a complete piece of chit they won't replace ...In the 5 months of ownership, it has been repaired 3 times (2-3 weeks each time) and, collectively, the following parts have been replaced: Motherboard = Twice Graphics Card = Thrice Hard Drive = Once Wireless Card = Once Heatsink + Fan = Twice and the thing STILL STILL STILL STILL shows artifacts, freezes, and randomly shuts off while playing games and after playing video for over 2 hours ... Of ALL the other computers I've owned over the last 10 years, I've only ever had one component failure, which is a hard drive about 3 years ago. Also humourous is the fact that the only computer I've owned that has given me a BSOD is my iMac (which didn't even have Windows on it at the time) ... Overall, I'm very unhappy w/ my iMac and I really wish Apple would make it better, but instead they delete my posts and ban me from their freaking forums for using terms like BSOD, which they said was "distasteful" ... Freaking nazis ... Sorry about the rant ... I just want Apple to take this piece of crap and give me something that "just works" ... Sucks to be you. My old iMac is still chugging away, completely outdated and under powered. But it still works Then again...I know its limits.

need 400w x 4 @ 2 ohm
Supa_c replied to pimpedout97x's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Most companies dont rate at 2Ω stereo on their 4ch's The big ones that come to mind are the Memphis 5004, the kicker ZX 850.4 and the SX 950.4. All rated at 200w+ at 4Ω x4. And if you have the coin...RF T15004 500Wx4@2Ω It also drops down to 1Ω stereo and does 600Wx4 http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/amp_power_output.asp -
Or run the discoloured one inverted and the nice one normal.

It gets some sunlight. I do have my windows tinted, but it's in the back of my blazer (see sig, lol). I the main reason I was asking is because I just got a second 18" (again, lol) and I was either going to do a wall or big ass box for them. Either way, they are going to be side by side, and you can see a big difference between them. Invert nuff said

only if they had brown baskets

Wouldnt hurt. Its a personal preference, but usually it will do more good than harm.

3 cubes should work. I put one in 1 cube sealed and it sounded just fine. The low end was lacking a bit, but it wasnt anything major that was really " missing" from the overall sound 1/2 the people who recommend enclosure sizes have never seen seen or heard the sub.
