When you have 90+lbs of woofers balancing on an enclosure with red 8ga wire going to + and - terminals something is gonna get wired wrong. That was not a fun day. 2 8ga wires going in those terminals is not easy to do

Only time i would do that is if i had an amp that couldnt take the bridged impedance. If you do that get a Y RCA adapter so you have the same signal going to both channels.
