My new toy: Autotek 5600X 5ch

Well, i put it all back together and i have realized that those specs mean diddly squat. 2ohms on the sub channel with 3/4 gain, this thing gets MUCH louder than my old SONY amp running the same sub/enclosure. The 12o is pounding nicely with this amount of watts. Definetly getting some good excursion out of it now. I think i cracked the windshield around the rear view mirror. It moves a good 1/2-3/4" All i need to do now is make a new enclosure w amp rack built in and wire up the coaxials. -
X2 on that Where abouts are you located ?

I told you, use the rice paste

I looked it up, the manual says 50x4 and 100X1 ( at 4ohms) @ 14.4V However, it also says that these specfications can be changed without notice. -

Far from it. Its not very easy to sand it, i have to use a putty knife. The clear coat says to use a medium grit compound. But i dont have any rubbing compounds at my house. Just car wax -

*UPDATE* Just put a coat of clear on. Right now im not to concerned about the pits because its just to much work to sand the crevices. -

Do you want to do it the right way or the ghetto way ?
-
Sorry to bring up an old thread but.... Ryan, how did you go about getting the sides of the amp closed in ? Also, does having the amp like that cool it enough ?
