Enclosure Build for Mark @ SSA!! (Installed, P.7)
pear_b replied to Argent Audio's topic in Argent Audio
Very nice box -
Im in Canada too, in my small city audio equip. holds absolutely no value. You would find alot more sucess in selling it online, you would be surprised how many people would want to buy that stuff from the US. You are going to lose money no matter, I get my stuff shipped to minnesota border, then pick it up, only 45 minute drive, but its 13% tax forthe equip. That you will never get back, ontop of lowering your price, I woulddo 275, then if anything depending on that, maybe lower to 250. Offer the dude some 12 gauge wire, show him a few vids, go over the parts of the sub compared to another "mainstream" company, and he might just buy it. GL with the sale!

i think he is talking about having the BP option added at no cost, soon it will cost folks more

as the title says, Im looking for 2 drivers that will perform well in 3.8-4 cubes tuned 35-38 hz off a saz 2000, nightshades are a little overkill I would say, how about those new drivers SA12's?
-
im just wondering how theyll like the power, and 30 is too low for my likings. im liking 35-38 daily and 45 for comps. I want the more cone area than a single 12 lol.

those would work, if your stuck on box designs, theres a few people that can build you one maybe for free, or even for like $10. I know a few, let me know!

this was developing almost as good as an alt. company on SMD's a few weeks ago.

besides the level 3's being cheaper, both solid subs but the level 3 is a sub geared toward overal being loud and sounding good, i dont have any experience witht he ssd or with sealed enclosures, just port the 10's, theyll sound just as good if not better and loud!
-
I have the level 3 12's and they take 600 rms each like a champ. Right from their website Suggested Sealed .5
-
Ohh I know, my buddy has a stetsom 7K2 and like SoundDigi not cheap at all!

Just need someone to explain to me what the subwoofer setting does, currently I have it at -10. It sounds really nice at that setting, when I turn it up to 0 or +1..2..3 etc, the bass feels more jumpier and not as nice, what does this setting do, and what should it be set at?

not bass boost, its a pioneer headunit, its under the SW button, you press it once and oyu have the option of turning the sub on/off/reverse, then you scroll it to the left and you get the settings, like +20 all the way down to like -20. I have it at -10 right now, I have no idea what it does but its def. not bass boost, -
I too am very interested,

Just finished applying 10 CLD tiles to my trunk lid from Don@ Sound Deadner Showdown. They went on super easy, very sticky, very easy to cut, and made my trunk lid alot more heavier and it dont rattle nearly as much as it use to. Very good product!!!!
