The Q is a nice driver but the 7" mounting depth may be pushing it. I can either go under the armrest or in a wedge/truck box and that's really pushing it in those locations... ...I am open to other suggestions though.

As far as the SSA line goes for me, I am between the Gcon 12 and the Icon 12. I'm curious which would perform better sealed. Icon would be seeing 900rms or the Gcon at 600 rms. I "could" be very conservative with gains/ and try to hold my amp back a tad for the Gcon D2. How would it perform in that application vs a single 12d4 getting 600 rms?

Sealed I can do by hand, lol. Takes too long. I'm thinking for low end response a single higher-powered driver may suit my needs(icon) rather than a pair of dcons due to enclosure size(toying with rear placement rather than center under armrest although it blows the stealth install). Side-note-Regular cab Chevy p/u any guesses as to resonant peak/cabin gain numbers and generalized tuning recommendations? I'm guessing resonance around 50 maybe a tad higher. First truck lol. Thinking I will end up tuning low and using a touch of eq to smooth it out. Unless of course a better suggestion is out there.....

Is there a decent one? The speakerLite seems a tad limiting.... Some time this week I will know res peak and cabin gain for the truck....time to plug some numbers in and see what happens.....

Sorry, can't find the "edit" on here-roughly 1.5-1.6 sealed or obviously smaller to include port would be the max. So tempting to be normal and go behind the seat lol.

Currently have 1.1 cu ft, I can enlarge some and add a cupholder to look stock. Mounting depth would love something 6 or under, possibly 6-1/2 or so if there is no vent on the magnet. Stitched tinsels would be nice but may not happen. Budget is flexible, I'd rather wait for the right sub than sacrifice for the sake of a few bucks.

Goal is a stealth setup and enclosure needs to be small. Something capable of good output and above avg sound quality too. I would like to do a low-tuned ported alignment or a sealed in the .75-ish QTC zone. I have 900(+) RMS at 2 ohms or 600(plus) at 4 to work with. Will be built under armrest in a 97 Chevy Silverado. I realize I'm asking a lot, just looking at options.

I was looking for boss, rock wood, and pyramid stuff, and a watt booster. Y'all came right up in the search! . Now all I need is Alfine or kengood....
