Sencheezy replied to Sencheezy's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
I'm having a really difficult time replying to multiple quotes, anyways, thanks everybody for the kind words!!! I love this damn sub. -
4th time replying to this damn thing lol, shit better work this time. Yes. Yes. Yes. Duals this year, quad next. MUCH better lol. Date I say it can handle more : peepwall:Is it getting an acutal 5500w now and wanting more?! Dang bro that makes me want to become evil......... No its not taking the whole 5500 watts as amps are not 100% efficient, you have to figure out the rise in its current enclosure and etc. stfu jay @frogcase2002, I will be adding more power soon.

If it was me, I would get a 2k ems amp per sub, and adjust gain accordingly.

First Week of Owning the SSA Evil

Doing demos again yesterday, I had one bailout and one tapout. Its so funny though, my door handle isn't like the normal handles, so when people try to jump out, they just start grabing for random shit lol. Also, when I was looking for some good widows to flex, I came across a closed down sears. Well, when I was testing to see if I can even do it, I heard this really quiet ringing noise. Turns out, I friggin set the alarm off of the building!! lol. Also, in the video "ssa evil flexxxing my explorer", at 00:16, my phone takes a shit on itself when the bass drops lmao. -
Just curious, how is the communte over there? is it anything like the states? Like people driver 10,15 miles to work and back everyday? Lots of traffic, etc. Lol, sorry, I know nothing of their culture in that aspect.

Same way a system is built to meter well at the kick, dash, etc. Hours and hours of testing. Its very simple really, competing. There are several constant variables that goes into testing, and its all about maxing those out. But the difficult part, is it being one big equation, once you change X, then Y and B are changed simultaniously. In this case, the headrest, you want start off with a box, simple. What you then try to do, is find the best port area that gives you the most output, then the best box size, then the best box positioning, etc, until you have increase all areas that you have. The only difference is the meter placing, but the technique remains the same.

"generally" speaking, the headrest will be lower than any other location. 1-2+ dbs from either windshield or kick. I say generally because if you are a serious competitior, you will change your score per sanction. What I mean is, if your peaking higher in the kick, but you compete mainly at the headrest, then you will build your system around the headrest, so in the end, you could very well be louder at the headrest, vs the kick. The reason for the lower score, is because the headrest as NO loading. When you burp in the kick or windshield, the bass is reflecting off the windshield, which generally increases your score. Also, the main league that does the hearest metering is MECA, which also HAS fuse limits. Very difficult, and very gay lol. imo.
