Thanks Edouble!! I got them as far back as I could, physically. I actually caught a break on the driver side. What a pickle that was lol. When I press the brake pedal, the rod that the adjustable pedal is on, would push down of the top side of the horn, but the way I have it now, when I push it down, the pressure will move the horn down, but once break is released, the horn will be supported again. On the passenger side, there is some kind of black container in the way from preventing me to go back any further. But I do have each motor towards the wall side. The sound stage, at least to me, sounds phucking unbelievable. These are a bit bright around the 3k range. Try to adjust those may be difficult due to my limitation of sq controls via my pioneer. An easy way to tame those minis is to set your high pass filter at 7000hz with a shallow 6db slope. This will almost eliminate the need for eq. Can you do that with the equipment you have? Thanks for the tips Eric! I really appreciate it man. I cannot currently. I have the stock 8 band eq out of the headunit, thats pretty much it. I may be forced to install the Arc Audio 7 or 8 band eq that I have. But that would be the extense of what I have currently available. haha yup wow, thanks for the resources Jay, I will for sure check these out! Thanks again bud haha thanks Lee, these DO sound amazing. They don't sound at the floor at all in my installation, crazy. He doesn't sound at head level height either though. Its kind of just, in front of you, but not in one location. Like, you can't try and listen to where the sound is coming from, its really imerssive.

    Build log updated!!
  14. does not need any deadener in this application. Deadener is the wrong tool to use for this application. Welding and bracing is the best/cheapest solution, which he is taking. Great job Tim! Looks dope man, can't wait to see the finished roof man, going to make a big difference I'm sure. While you're at it, you should definately do the same for the doors man. Pressure wants to escape, wants the roof has been treated, the doors will take a shit next. im not asking about using deadener to fix his roof. (idk what an application is) Application is his goals/build. I don't understand not using deadener on any car with subs.... Yes, many vehhicles need sound treatment. But deadener alone is the right answer. Many different technicues must be used cohesivly to achieve a nice quiet ride. deadener can help you get 1-3 more DB on the dash? FALSE. In many vehicles, you actually LOSE dbs. why would you not use it? Many reasons, for different applications, budget, purpose, amount, etc. Extreme vehicles use other mehtods outside of deadener to achieve extreme spl OP himself said the roof is very thin, Please, visit this site, http://www.sounddeadenershowdown.com/ how much would deadening help the acoustic of the car? No one will know until applied. This is the first car i've seen that does numbers like that without any silver stuff I ask the noob questions that come to my mind so I can maybe learn something Asking is good.

    IAK needs an "IHOP"

I will be uploaded pics/videos here shortly to show. But essenstially I grab some mounting straps, and fastened with a screw from the horn's ears to a kindly placed piece of my vehicle, then supported it with zip tied motor to whatever was under there.

Very well built box! haha. It went pretty well actually. Was very intimitdating at first though. Never installed horns before. So I really didn't know how to plan or where to begin. Ideas starting popping in my hand as soon I just put the damn tools in my hand lol. Took maybe two hours total. Including a lunch and stop to Lowes. They sound very good!! Loud but oh so clear. I suppose a few world sq vehicles have won with these exact models. So that makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Also, I don't think I'll be needing any other tweets ever again!! hahaha.
