8000K 55watt DDM Tuning HIDs for 2007 Explorer
Sencheezy replied to Sencheezy's topic in Product Reviews
I would believe this is case by case, depending on how large the housing is. Because in my explorer, it barely gets even luke warm on the headlights or the foglights, even with them blacked out. I would really go with 55w though. Also, I didn't restore my headlights either, they didn't need it. =) -
I got a demo of this at sbn, great sounding truck.

Setting gain on BC3500. Clipping or not?
Sencheezy replied to Patrick Danesky's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Do it by ear man. Also, if you "did" want to use the knob, you would back down once it begins to flicker, not once it shows it first light, if you get what I mean. You kind of want it to flicker with the bass notes. -
Hi David. We misses you.

Alright, so last update for the light project. I spent a few hours today cleaning up everything. I ended up extended the port hub for the six small tubes to reach the rear, I installed the main brain and the 4 outer tube switch under neath the dash. I mounted the last two tubes under the rear seats. Not the best locations, but it will do. Overall, I'm veriy happy with this project. All is up and functional. If anything, I would like to find a way to keep lights on but only whenever I start the car. Currently, I have to power on/off with remote. And that's all I have

Yes, same on my Evil.

Holy hell did that take forever!!! For me to install the four 15" tubes in my grille took about 6-7 hours.. yeah. One tube gave me the most trouble, as I had to keep rewiring it because a wire seemed to always touch eacth other where I was extending it. But whatevs, I'm very happy with the outcome. Check out these pics. And here you can hear the birds chirping lol. Shitty video, looks much brighter in person.

Haha no problem Pete. Thanks for the comment man. It's a great subwoofer. Would have to say its the best sounding sub I've heard at this kind of pressure level. -

The best way to break in a sub woofer is to simply play music on it. If you try by other methods, open air for x amount of time, or, x amount of time on x Frequency, it only breaks in at that application. Playing music, you will break in across the sub woofers playing frequency. Which is the best way to do so.

Ok, so as I continue this light project, I have a few updates. Starting next with the grille, one light per section wasn't bright enough(top/bottom). So I will use two per. This will involve extended the cables per tube. For this, instead of using the speaker wire, which was previously done, works fine, but I will take a bit neater approach by utilizing Cat5E cable. For the interior, I will probably just purchase their interior kit. With the two remaining tubes, I may place them inside the enclosure(not sure). What the top will look like, with both tubes being used. I will be extended them about 15ft per cable Silly Bassink Hopefully this goes well Benefits of working in a data center
