Unless you are an electrical engineer and also have the accompanying schematics, then pictures of any amp are meaningless. People on the internet like to ooh and ahh over pics, but 99.9% of the members commenting on or who are impressed with those pictures haven't a clue what they are looking at or should be looking for. They just see a lot of big parts or a high parts count and assume that makes it better. To make matters worse dozens of members post comments talking about how awesome these amps look in the pics when they have no idea what they are looking at, so novice members take those comments as fact.Amp guts pics are as useless to the average user as clamp tests. Another case of money-see monkey-do internet boners where a bunch of people talk and brag about something when they really have no clue. Yeah I definately understand what you are saying. One thing we can visual tell is Quality Control though correct? The way the pieces are assembled, glued, aligned, etc. My comment was geared towards that aspect of things.

idk if it's just me, but the internal pics look like blah? Like, I don't want to say thrown together, but just how it looks. It looks like very minimum pieces were used to put the amp to get together, I guess the "wow" factor we are used to seeing in korean amps just isn't there.

Uhggh, just did a full respond and internet crapped out. Ok, basically, to maintain a 14.4 voltage, you will have to supply the exact amperage that your amplifier, and the rest of your vehicle, is drawing. This is unrealistic for about 97.3% of ppl. As this will require multiple alternators. Especially just for 3500 watts. But to play your system in the safe voltage range, then reserve is key. Another reason while why it is extremely difficult, is because lets say your 3500 amp is drawing 300 amps and you have 3 270amp alternator, there is still going to be that latency, (voltage drop) because the draw (short burst of energy) happens much faster than the alternators are capable of reacting to. -
Yeah, I do see a lot of beauty marks... That's unfortunate. None which will affect the way it will sound though.

Sounds like you're on par honestly. If you'd like to improve it, obviously you can add more batteries, more alternators, and more wiring. But for a 3500, I would use at least two of those xp3000s. And use 2/0 welding cable for your power and grounds. If you wanted to improve, another thing you could do your big three. Also with the rear battery, you could run a direct cable from the negative of your battery to a grounding location near the alternator, (the bolt that the alt is mounted to). But honestly, you notice .7 volt difference, MAYBE a full volt or 1.5. -
Photobucket. So you're disappointed in the looks of the sub, not the way it performs? Have you listened to it? What are your thoughts on it's performance? Pics of the installation?
