Xobx 360 error codes
Sencheezy replied to Sencheezy's topic in Computers / Electronics / Music / Games
Xbox has a lot of games out there that are really fun. Again, that is your reason for not wanting a 360, but IMHO, the 360 overall is simply just a better system. With the media center, you can watch live tv, media from your pc, netflix, etc etc. Of course, the ps3 has its advantages as well. But, just my opinion I guess.... The kinnect is bad ass as well. Just think of how innovetive this technology is. Think outside the box, not just for gaming, but this technology is gonna blast off, helping the ill, helping children, creating robots. Just youtube Kinnect Mods, crazy shit like rendering 3D imaging and self flying helicopter to active camouflage, the shit is legit. -

Take it apart, if you don't know how, its very easy and simple. This is where youtube is your friend. Just simply grab some q-tips, and alcohol, and if you have WD40, use that, I don't, so instead I used a tab of soap. Use the q-tip and alcohol first to clean the rails, you will know what I'm talking about once you open it up. Also, there is another gold swirly thing that the Lens slides up and down, clean that as well. Now, once you clean up all of the build up, use whatever you have to lube up the rails and that other swirly thing. This should fix it, if not, let me know. -
If you REALLY like single sub set-ups, then you already know the answer to that. IMO, I think, two subs with the same amount of power would sound louder then just one sub on the same amount of power. But thats just my guess. Remember, TWO heads are better than ONE I say that because of cone area. But again, if you don't have sufficient space availible for those two BL's, then don't do it. It will sound better if you give the BTL a happy home rather then two BL's squeezed into a closet. Get what I'm saying?

Lol, even with the cartridge systems, you would have to blow in them sometimes, or, grab a q-tip, some alcohol, and rub the q-tip across the little gold teeth lol. -

First, determine which drive you have. Use this link to help. http://llamma.com/xbox360/Xbox_360_DVD_Drive_Comparison.htm Sometimes, its the magnet that has gone bad, could be the motor, it could be the rails that simply just need some lube. -

Here's how you fix it guy http://llamma.com/xbox360/repair/ring_of_light_x-clamp_fix.htm -
I had my btl in my 96 explorer sub up port back... But I'm in the same boat as you, I don't know which way would be louder, and ALWAYS wanted to know without testing myself because of funds. I stopped by a auto dealer once though, and it told me it would sound better sub and port back because it "physics" lol, w/e thats suppose to mean???

The psN got hacked 3 times btw The xbox is a good system. But the manufactured flaws do hold it back from being just like, the best system ever. Again, try the qtip trick I stated, and it would usually last a while before craping out again, and in that event try it again, and then it may or may not work, but just try it. Or, you could follow some of the tips from llama, or the other site I listed. It really just depends on how much work your willing to do, you can fix it permanently, but takes some time. Oh, And I love the Kinnect, I just admire the technology behind it, I guess thats because I love technology in general. It sucks it RROD on you though... Those things are a bitch to take a part. If you just got it,then it should still be under the factory warrenty. Also, the place you put it also has a HUGE factor, try to give it room to breath, like you would for a subwoofer or an amplifier. Not against any walls, nothing blocking vents, and don't have anything covering up the power supply, (the brick). Also, Newer games take a lot out of that GPU that was made what, 6 years ago, so, just be aware that newer games like Halo reach, All of the new CODs, all of those high processed games take a lot of energy to play, so keep that in mind. -
You can do it at any freq... Depends on your system. To simply ask which one is better, is like, me asking you whats the best flavor of ice cream. If you don't know what I like, then how could you tell me the right answer? You get what I'm saying?

Listening with Astro A40's now
-
Maybe try to get a new box using Aero Ports, and throw a bag of Poly Cotton in there... You want to give which ever sub you choose the most air to breath.

Not in Taco Bell's anything! 85% is real beef

Haha, yeah, I watched that vid too. What else do you know about the company though? The reason I found this company was because of that black chick, Ladie something with numbers, but, wasn't much impressed...

Do you live under a rock by any chance?

So one 15 cost 824, or two Zcon 18's for 938 + shipping, I wonder which one would be louder
-
What did we tell you about that whole "thinking" thing. Its bad for your health.

Thanks for the heads up, but, I've known Massive to be pretty expensive, and their RK6 line doesn't disapoint, its price is 350... Thats kinda steep for me ATM. I'm pretty confindent that SA would be a lil bit more wallet friendly. I hear ya man. I have no doubt that SA will be more wallet friendly with the same amount of performance. I was just throwing an option out there for something to play with until they get their 6.5's finished and produced. Definitely not trying to turn anyone away from SA, I love their products.
-
OUCH!!! Don't know how you know that but thanks!!! Good thing I'm a fan of the Zcons instead lol
-
I haven't heard anything bad about them.... But, the site seems to not have LFTN making magic behind the seens lol. And the enclosure specs they have, are for every single driver they offer? Its kinda all generalized, like, all 10's use these recommendations, all 12's use these enclosure specs, etc etc. But besides those two things, they do look pretty beefy, especially the extremes. I wonder what their prices are??
-
Glad to hear that you tried it! Well, atleast you did get some kind of benefit from it ya know.

I would love a strong 6.5 woofer from you, would be it without second thought. Reason being, a lot of us don't want to spend the resources to mold a 8" or a 10" in our doors. And since a lot of vehicles have a 6.5" adapter, I think it would simply be a lot easier for the consumer to pick one up, and install. I know for me, and other Ford Explorer owners out there, we have a 6x8 opening, (FML), but we can pick up an adapter, to house a 6.5", and my plans are to run a woofer, and a tweeter per door, but do not want to pay to get some fiberglass done to fit an 8 or an 10". I don't believe that I am the only one that feels this way...
