Wow, its been a few weeks now with the ICON, and I am all of the impressed as you can get, this thing is amazing. Just can't say enough none the less. I shot a video this morning after work, it was nice and shinny out. There was a lot of flexing going on, I couldn't believe it haha. Well enough talk, just watch video, also, I recorded with my phone, so quality isn't amazing as it is capable of catching of the flex, but, after watching the video, just times that by two and you pretty much have the right idea of how it looks like in person

Sweet, and I knew it was something spinning haha I would just simply like to know what things should I look for when buying a new camera, I'm looking to invest in a really nice one. For example, when I go to Nikon website, and look at specs, this is what I get: http://imaging.nikon.com/lineup/dslr/d4/spec.htm As you can see, this can be a bit overwhelming especially to a novice such as myself. This is what caught my eye while looking through engadget last night, but again, without knowing what to look for, and whats important or key features, I have no understanding why this one would be better than the next one. http://imaging.nikon.com/lineup/coolpix/life/l810/ On and off for 9 years? Damn you must be old

We did a tutorial where we made a basic one with Word. Now we're supposed to either use word or something else to make something more complicated. It is weird. I see. I could whip something up basic, but if he asks you about the code, you may have to resort to eating a twix. While thinking of the word twix, I almost wrote twickers. I'm not sure what any of that meas, so I probably would, lol. I don't need you to do anything like that though. Was just curious what program would be the quickest to learn to get this done. Notepad doesn't seem too difficult, at least for what I'm doing. If you use any text editor, your going to be writing html and css (the text editor isn't going to do anything except save what you type), it's pretty straight forward, but trying to do it all in one night may be a little challenging. Yea, I figured it'd be time consuming. I'll get started tonight. Thanks for the advice. If you get stuck with anything let me know. Be brave when asking Stef for help.

It really doesn't even do that... the real responses aren't like the graphs at all when we measured them. These days I don't use a box program for anything more than calculating port tuning as they are so often separated by a big margin from what really happens. How are you measuring them? SPL meter in the vehicle under power (~600 watts) at 5 Hz intervals. The giant peak on the ISD graph shown for the Skar woofer simply doesn't happen for instance... the shape of the response is very much like the Obsidian despite a VERY different model. ---- We use box programs to calculate port size and anechoic F3 -- then use knowledge of how things typically react in a car to suggest box spec to customers. Over-studying the graphs in box model programs is something I was VERY guilt of early in my audio years... but I've learned better Well of course the graphs don't match the program, you're measuring in-vehicle I think Duran's point was even though the box programs don't show in-vehicle response, you can compare the relative differences between two different subs. When placed in the same installation, while the response will change, that change will be common to both subs. So you can get an idea of relative differences even though actual response won't be exactly that of the program generated graph. With a little guesstimation you can get a general idea of how the in-vehicle response will look. I completely agree.
