Just a fyi, it was a great turnout with 49 vehicles registered. Had a blast too. -
It'll be for a great cause! C'mon man, I'm the youth, right, so I'm the future right, so don't you want to be able to enjoy your future? ew, lol, that didn't come out right

You should really be aiming a lot hire than that. I would say atleast high 40's, not sure whats your goal with your current setup, but that driver is completely capable. Really? Awesome! Its going to be CRAY! >.< id like to get in the high 40's but i want to build only one box and for daily use. i could probably get in the high 40's with the right box but i plan on tuning it around 32Hz. think 1 15 could score in the high 40's on 2600watts??? lol yes, seen it yesterday, off an aq2200. I'll be tuning to 35hz with new box, and it will be daily, I wouldn't worry too much on tunning as I believe in the right box, and correct tuning, you won't be effected much by it. For example, when I was preparing my icon for the comp yesterday, My db score was flat from 41hz to 47hz, not exactly sure what the box was tune to tho, but the ssa drivers are really well built. I mean, if you feel the need to get most output at such a low tunning(28-32hz), then I suppose, but I would tune higher to try and get the best of both worlds. But of course thats just my opinion.

That sux, on a better note, I am now following your build and I like the new edge, nice vehicle choice there sir. I hear the sync was going under revamp tho, not sure for what year, it was either 12 or 13, can't remember. -

45hz at the passenger headrest driver door/window open on 35 amp fuse. Didn't monitor voltage as I had my foot on the gas. I would assume ~13v though. Don't know what the final tunning of the enclosure is though.

electrical upgrade question?
Sencheezy replied to RobertJasonRuiz's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Upgrading your stock battery would be a great start. I have an 130a stock alt and stock but big battery with an 1200watt amp and I was doing fine for the first 5-7 weeks. Just now am I starting to notice any light dimming. I would suggest also to invest in a volt meter, which can be found via ebay for about 20$. Once you have that, then you will have a better understanding of how your vehicle is handling the extra stress. If you can afford it, also by an additional 10ft of 1/0 cable for the big 3 upgrade. Though maybe not needed, it always makes an great addition for down the road once you upgrade. -

So yesterday was my first event, and I believe I did ok? I competed in S1 and scored a 140 flat with my Icon and AQ1200 and was beat by 1.4 dbs from a IA LI on a memphis 600watter in a late 90s Nissan Sentra even though I swear his sounded like a POS and not nearly as loud as mine which makes me very angry!!! lol, but it was fun, and I gained a lot more knowledge which was the goal. I wanted to get my feet wet before I walked in there with an updgraded system, just to get my feet wet kind of thing. Saw some great system and got some demos as well. And boy does 155 make my panties wet Well on with the pics. I also got some professional pics taken as well that I should have available this week and of course will share them. I can't wait for the next one!
