Phuck yes amp them bro! Theres a big difference(to me) when changeing HU, then Changing Speakers, THEN amping them! You don't need anything special, just any normal 100.4 would do or something similiar, no matter the amp rating (keep it reasonable lol). Also, don't pay too too much attention to the power ratings and what you may or may not "think" how much power is being used. That'll be a guessing game, and no one likes to do that. I would just suggest, pay a small little amplifier, and go from there. Set the dials to what your comforatable with.

As you can see, I pointed out two instances where you used the term "kid/kids". I don't mind being corrected, and would admit if I was incorrect. Also, I never called anybody 'kids", I simply asked you to stop referring the members on this site as "kids". I'm a little confused by your third statement, could you explain when I ever used the term "assume" or called you one? I'm actually one of the nicer members around here, as you can tell by my initial statement of me simply requesting you to give it a try. I really think you should point out who your statements are referencingtoo as your response to me is clearly not aimed at me.

Just out of curiousity, how did you blow it? lol

I would suspect you will be if anything at bare minimum as loud, as long as install is correct. This is just me guessing.

Damn that was nice! -
I don't think so sir. A recone to my knowledge only refers to the "soft parts" I.E. cone/cap/surround/voice coil.

lol No offense man, but please learn how to write a proper sentence! Cheese and rice I had to read that about 4 times and use my imagination to get what you were saying. Like two big ass run on sentences with no punctuation any where! lmao.

2000 Yukon SLT *New Build* open to ideas and suggestions
Sencheezy replied to yungw33z's topic in Build Logs
I'm not experienced in box enclosure, but I'm sure one can schime in on some of the options you will have available. Which shouldn't be limited to say the least. A few equipment I would recommend. Alt - Ohio Gen/Singer Batt - XS Wire - Wire And Supply.com (welding cable) Subs - (F.i or SSA) Amps - Crescendo Mids/highs - Madisound.com (I like the Seas) Mids/highs amp - ZED Audio Enclousre - I guess a lot of youtubers are having luck with BassHeadEnclousre? Head Unit - Eclipse And I think thats all comes to mind at the moment. I wish you the best of luck, and look forward to the build log. BIG TIP, lol, don't rush anything. These kind of installs can take up to 6-8 months to complete. A lot of work ahead, thats for sure. -

Well, you have a lot of goals, and seem like you know what you want. I hope you are willing to invest in any foreseen equipment as well. Such as security, brakes, suspension, mpg, etc. Best way to chose what enclosure and power is to find out how much space you have. So lets start off with you providing max demensions. -
Shit got broken into today while I was getting my hair braided. Time to order those pico's.

I've never ran none of the subs you've mentioned besides the F.i. UFO BTL, SSA Icon, and the Zcon. Currently I'm running my 15" Zcon ona BC5500 @ 1ohm daily, the enclosure is 4.5 @ 34hz. I love it. And many of my friends have also stated how clear it sounds. Its truely amazing imo. So clear, so loud, and a lot of output. I will be getting metered this weekend. I've also heard great things about the Sundown woofers. One of the main selling points, is the amount of space required.

i think you should try it, since apparently you've done some research on said topic. i would also suggest to stop calling us kids.

Ok, I'm going to help you out a little bit here. 1: STOP comparing your system to SMD's ok. Once you have done that, then progress will begin to happen. I promise.
