One day I will be loud I love the ZED. It is currently uninstalled untill I begin work on the doors with the newer speakers I have. I'm really scared to glass myself.

What ever configuration you chose, I would go with SSA, because I like the way they taste

Ah, ok, sorry for the misinterpintation.
-
Best way to do that, is to give her the remote and plug in HER ipod

If your goals are to put 3krms to each sub, you WILL past your budget of 700$. I would invest into equipment that could properly handle 3krms daily.

Lmao that's how me and my wife are. LMFAO, that had me rolling ohhh, so true, so true. Its funny, if you ever tell like,"normal" ppl, how much we spend on CA, their mouth drops. 400 for this, 550 for that, 2000 on this, etc etc etc lol

had it to an ap3000 , but way turned down My next question was going to be about your electrical, so thanks for answering. How did you set your gain? My guess is it was probably your ssf setting but I'd hate for you to get a recone and blow it again. The ZCON is hard to destroy, so there was something set wrong for sure. thats what I'm trying to figure out. Because, trust me,when you bottom it out, its hard not to notice. BIG BOOM(pop more accurate) comes to mind when describing it.

Then go try another amplifier!

See that's exactly what i wanted to do in the beginning but everyone told me there is no such thing as a sub that can take 5500 daily without giving in quickly. How long have you been running that setup. Any noted experiences. I was originally wanting to do a single 18 on 5500. I have been running this setup for almost two weeks now. I have also blown the dustcap off. Thats a 2$ dollar fix. My mistake, was sending it too much power outside of its comfort zone. I'm tuned a 34hz, so, everybody knows that you can reach xmech by playing too hard below tuning, what I didn't know, is that the same thing applys if you send it too much power above tuning. Luckily, I learned that without much damage to my driver. Some noted experiences is that, you simply have to pay a lot more attention if you plan on playing hard, which I do. But in my case, if your gonna play, at like, Sub Woofer volume at +10, then you will never have an issue, and wouldn't have to monitor too too closely. But its when I'm out with friends, trying to show out, on very dynamic music that I'm not experienced with at +15, THEN you are going to want to keep your hand on the volume know. How much output difference there is when increasing power, for me, A LOT lmao. The zcon does not take a lot of power at all to get loud. But for me to get that wind tunnel going on, I need to crank it up around tuning, then it gets really silly Before, I could barely keep a cup trick going with the AQ1200, but now, its NO problem at all lol. The main reason I LOVE doing it this way, (adding power), is that, the amplifier I believe runs a shit ton more efficient than running the aq1200. The reason I say that is because, with the aq, I felt like, I was pushing the amp to its limit, to get the zcon louder. Which meant inefficiency, clipping, and distorting. These three things can actually kill the sub faster than running a larger amp with minimal stress. Reason being, I don't need to push the 5500 to its limit, to get the Zcon going. I have NO idea how much power I am actually sending to the zcon. So to say I am giving the zcon 5500 daily would be ignorant. I don't car how much power I'm giving it, as long as the driver is playing happily, and I'm happy with the results.

Yes, you can go that low. As long as your an advent user. Or just know how to use your senses lol. I don't see a problem with tuning that low. i wouldn't do it. But thats subjective matter.
