ew, maybe try the bestbuy forums with those.

I would say a box of 4.0 cuft would be best if you plan to use around 3.5-5.5kwatts. I'm at 4.5 with my zcon, and it would be happier in a smaller box. Any amp that you find here at the ssa store would do just fine. No need to compare one another, they are all well. Just pick based on your budget and goals.

Trident 12'' sub (an on going design thread)
Sencheezy replied to Quentin Jarrell's topic in Direct Sound Solutions
Maybe it will help us all if you just list all/most of your products with a pricing and super duper eta. -
nice gear. I hate haveing that much tint tho, with 15% up front I can barely see anything. I think its rather unsafe to be hone.

Trident 12'' sub (an on going design thread)
Sencheezy replied to Quentin Jarrell's topic in Direct Sound Solutions
That means you get a little taste first, let you get your feet wet, before you get your hands on full awsomeness. But from what you're saying, it'll be till the end of this year before this beast comes out, and its just January, THEN, that means the 120pound monster prob won't be out till 2017 -

Trident 12'' sub (an on going design thread)
Sencheezy replied to Quentin Jarrell's topic in Direct Sound Solutions
That's insane Haha. Well, the greater good of the communication really appreciative the r&d you have placed and of course the investment as well. The biggest question, ETA for the 12", and the larger sizes. ~6-8 months? -

So I'm assuming by the title of the thread, the 12" will be the first to come out, then the larger sizes will follow? -

Which sub to go with? W7 or AA Havoc or Other?
Sencheezy replied to koodo's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Likewise. I would def go with the Xcon and the BC2K. You will save some coin doing so, and can put that toward a set of nice components. I too really like the idea of a xcon paired up with a bc2k. Though, I've never listened to a 13w7 in person. -
First sub install, must have done something wrong.
Sencheezy replied to Ttime's topic in Newbie Sign IN
I would check the grounds of your amplifier as well. I mean, really check it, as in, look under the terminal you used, sand it and the surface down to bare metal. -
Both subs will be fine. Many members here say to disregard those programs for many valid reasons. You should purchase the sub based on your goals, not power.

I was just like to say, after I received my first demo of the bigger and better install, holy shit. I really love it. I have been in some pretty loud installs, but what really sets this one apart, is it playability. For the most part, from my experience, a lot of the big number installs out there are really only efficient around their goals. But here, it just really sounds so clean and so powerful. People really just need a demo to understand what I'm trying to say haha. The bass notes just felt natural, with no distress whats so ever. I could really listen to that every day. Also, with such a great install, has its benefits. I mean, it can play the 52s-54s effortless, I mean, above 14 volts and no kind of subwoofer issues, for any period of time. And just at a moment notice, can sit your ass holding on to the seatbelt with no warning. Like I said before swift, 2 db's may not seem a lot, but holy shit, 2 db's at that high of a level really makes a worlds difference. Keep it up, I can't wait to see whats next!

I'm with you. This gets me thinking about maybe mid 40's on my end then. No, nothing wrong with your setup, just in this paticular setup, I don't know all the details, just giving my opinion from the outside looking in.

I thought 1k$ was pretty good for a 5k amp. Just look at what the RF were going for at local car electronic stors. I remember a quote, for the RF 2k, and the 100.4, it was 1200$ here in TN.
