BigJon when is your next weekend off? I will say the weekend your off just so we can meter if we want to.

Try a sony X-plod amp and 6 Pioneer single voice coil 12" subs! Ha just kidding, but you need to go with quantity like 6-8 kicker cvr's and a 2500-3000 watt amp to have loud, setting off alarms, just loud bass to give you the results that you want in your price range.

Wow, that guy used dialoge just like a novel series writer. That was funny, just because of the un-ordinary use of vocabulary.

We are going for performance vs. looks but regardless it will work just as good from the pics you can see the 90 inside the box. And If the batteries didn't get 16+ volts it wouldn't be good?
-
Im not a noob but, if I have 13.-- volts will this battery boost up its own capacity voltage higher than the normal battery?

Good to hear Edgar, we need to meet up to see how it sounds. Had a lot of fun building this box, it was one of our bests boxes yet and it fits like a glove haha!

Hey Matt I know exactly what you mean, some of the best rap comes from TEXAS! No disrespect to all the other states tryin to screw n chopp but leave it to the south-home of the swang n bang-3rd degree is awesome...chalie boy goes hard, got a homeboy in Austin, DJ youngspinna, DJ grip, DJ since, some of Greencity in Kileen...some of their chit bangs, but real good beats and mixtapes. Bun B goes amazingly hard, so does the new Slim THug CD!

Put 2 15" FL BL's...trust me you'll be fine. I had 2000 watt Brutus on em (I was dumb) and it bumped so hard, but I still like my little system I have now...2-12" SX's, I have low voltage and a low amp. I achieved 142 db's just a while back. I plan to do a little more but start off something low and learn to work your way up! My 2 cents

New system sounds like crap. help

I had a problem with my amp and it was giving out 5 volts out to the subs with a test tone, everytime I unplugged the bass knob it would do a loud pop/bass hit. It was the amp, the night before we set the gains to 56 volts....and then it was dumb the next day when I went to the autoparts store. A new amp simply fixed my problem. THis sounds very similar to my problems -
I want to put a 17 or 19" dell monitor and adapt it to play my music videos out of the trunk at the same time my pioneer 700bt is playing. It can be done I was told by custom sounds, but you need to have an video adapter. any other suggestions? I am trying to do this the cheapest way. OR I can buy a 20" tv and just plug it right into my (yellow) rca video cable and run with it. But I was wondering if there was another CHEAP way around 200$ or less. And yes the bang will problably shatter the screen but I might put it in my back window, don't know quite yet. thanks fellas

Your number of posts says 2, How could you think 30?

Props for the box, hey I still have my box looking (raw) ha. But now you have bass, step 2 is to put some component speakers in your vehicle. Idk if it was just me or if you have stock stereo speakers in your ride. Sorry to down your thread, but it does look good...and you know more than others by facing the subs up!

Even with a dell monitor (which I was going to use anyway) you need a 25-35 dollar s-video converter. I was chattin with a guy from San Marcos about it a few days ago about it, he says alot of the people round Austin do that cause it is cheaper than buying a 400 flip down 8" screen haha. -

Ha, tell me about it.... New tires and then alt. then screen. But still check it out, I am gonna work on that. I still need a converter. Someone from San Marcos said that Radioshack sells em for that application. 13.2-13.4 volts isn't enough, New alternator that provides 14-14.4 would be nice! I can hopefully get more out of the TL with more power! -

Props Audibel Customs, Mad Props.... Like the song says "I don't do this for me, I do this for ya'll" -
So you like the Brutus Ayy? I have 2 SX's to a 2600 watt Brutus and it sounds very clean both SPL and SQ. Good to see another RE + Maxxsonics user out there! Nice box man.
-
Yes, a bigger one under the hood...if that doesn't work like you thought then a second (large Capacity) battery should fix all the dipping in voltage. I know for a fact because I have weak voltage but lots of storage capacity in my rig and never see dipping unless full tilt. I am getting a better alternator some time in the future and then I can crank out more voltage and still have good storage.
-
Problably won't need anything, but possibly that bigger battery that he mentioned. I am doin fine with my SX's and don't dip that much at all with my 2nd battery.
