    Question about port angle?

Well I've been designing my box for my 2003 ext cab s10. I've decided to do the sub at a 45 degree angle facing the windshield and do the port the same way. The box is 6 ft^3 after all displacements and the port is 80 in^2 tuned to 30 hz so its about 32in long. The port is angles 45 degree off of the baffle board and goes straight down and makes a 90 degree turn and goes across the bottom. Does it have to be angled the same in the bottom of the box like its pictured below? Is that how you would do it?
  3. Well I've almost got enough saved up for a fully loaded 18" btl. I have a 2003 extended cab s10 this will be going in. My maximum dimensions are 23.5"(h) x 18"(w) x 50"(l). Those are outer dimensions. This will be powered by a Sundown Audio Saz-3000d into 1 ohm :bigclap: . I was wondering if 6 ft^3 would be fine with that much power with 80 in^2 of port tuned to 30 hz.
  4. My friend keeps on telling me his ma audio 802sx pushes out all this true power at less than 14 volts. I told him his amp was rated at 17 volts and he doesn't believe me. How does the sundown saz-3000d stack up to the ma wattage wise at 14 volts. He says his amps are the better deal because they are a little more than half of the price of the sundown. I told him you get what you pay for and sundown was a better quality amp. I just need some opinions and facts to back up my logic. Any help would be grateful.
