The magnums are easy to work on. I have the Chrysler 300 and the motors are the same in the to. It took me about an hour to put my Alt on. The battery is in the back in the spare tire well. I ran 2 runs of 1/0 with no issue. I would say look into them man.
-
Look into maybe a dodge magnum as they have quite abit of room. There are many choices for HO Alts, wire can easily be ran, and they can be had for a really good price.
-
Sencheezy- Yes I will be running them at .5ohms so they should see around 2500+ each.
-
I can't wait to get my 2 12s and put the power to them. Should do pretty good in my single cab truck on a ddm4.

Thanks Quentin, I wasn't sure if the new surrounds applied to all or just the 10's. Also thanks for making the dual leads standard on the ethos.
-
Thanks, I thinking of doing the dual lead option instead of the standard leads.
-
Quentin I was wondering if the run of ethos that are coming in October will have any changes compared to the previous Ethos. I know you had talked about and showed pics of the new surrounds, will those be used on the ones built in October. Is there any other planned changes, Also what is the cost for dual leads instead of single leads? Thanks in advance for the info.

I wouldn't unless its designed for the ethos It was desgined for 12s that likes small airspace, But I can always redesign for the Ethos. For now I am switching to 2 12" DSS ethos on 2 DDM4's for next season. Right now Im still one of the loudest single cab trucks out there.
-
I do use photobucket but when I try to put them on here it never loads them.
-
I was gonna post pics and vids but I can't seem to figure out how to.
-
I have 2 designs for an 8 12s 4th order blow through. Maybe later on I'll do 8 12" DSS ethos on about 10-15k.
-
Thanks, I will definitely get some pics uploaded so that everyone can see the truck and the build inside.
-
Soundqubed HDS312 is $159 new so that may be a good option. Its is 3" coil 1200 rms so it will be a good match with the s1500.1 you have.

Yeah tommyk's truck is very loud. Not sure that I will ever catch him, but I'm also tunned a lot lower then he is. I think his numbers are at like 42hz.

I will post of pictures of the build when I get home from work. My work computer doesn't allow me to post pics.lol
