2 farad cap
CadillacMatt replied to DiabolicCustoms's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
x1,000 on the battery man, most of us have made the cap mistake starting out... Hell, one guy in my car club was looking for a "compasiter" so I dug one up I had laying around and made a quick 10 bucks off of it No shame in my game bro-ham -
RIdgid makes a good decently priced router we used to use in our shop. And x2 on what Topgun mentioned about the bits... in my line of work I've witnessed two instances where the bit completely came apart and did some pretty good damage to people.

Vodka, nukes, and now SPL metering equipment. Those Ruskies will stop at nothing for world domination
-
Especially Juice Box with that constant low bass note for three and a half damn minutes lol
-
OK so we have a few votes of confidence here, now does anyone have any foreseeable circumstances in the next few months so that we can set a date? I'm thinking May or June would be prime... definitely a Saturday or Sunday, with the weather monitored closely to ensure that nothing rains on our car audio parade

Funny you should mention that man Hugo was talking about that same exact thing this past weekend
-
Wow those Lexani's look a lot like the Akuza Reaper's I used to have Good start keep it up!

Nice car and equipment list man. How did those 8's fit in in terms of overall system performance/sound? I'm running 6.5"s in door pods vented into the door, sound deadened, but I'm still not getting *quite* the midbass response I would like... might possibly look into some 8's in the future Thanks and keep it up

If by punch you mean caseloads of beer and by pie you mean BBQ then I am certainly down for that

and that is why i am worried. Hmm, well if you went the route of putting a new/used one back on maybe you could isolate it from the vibrating undercarriage somehow with some sort of insulation... weatherstripping, maybe some duct tape and Maxi pads or something?? lol MacGuyver that shit Jon -
Well, stepped outside about 10 this morning to the scene below: This is the front building of my apartment complex, the area you see with the damage is a small beauty shop renting a space next to our apartment office. Apparently what happened was an elderly lady stepped on the gas instead of the brake (seems to happen a lot, doesn't it?), effectively turning the salon into a drive-thru. Nobody was hurt thank goodness, the woman was taken to the hospital as a precaution. To be honest, the car doesn't look too damaged for what it did to the damn building, but then again who knows what kind of damage there might be to the framework. I know this has nothing to do with the recent Toyota recalls, it just made a catchy title When I get old, somebody PLEASE take my keys away!

Yay some more Fi Car Audio fans

Hey gents, Chop had approached me a while ago about making a demo track for you guys... I'm always down to take on new projects, and the purpose of this thread is to get some ideas from all of you on how you want this track to turn out. It will most definitely be bass heavy, with a grab bag of frequencies to satisfy any tuning you guys might have. I want it to showcase not just the lows, but the mids and highs as well. Below is a link to some of the beats I've made in the past, if you like any particular style or what not give a shout out, like I said this is from the ground up and entirely up to you guys so let's get some ideas flowin'!! Chop you had mentioned that it would be cool to give a shout out to everyone in the track, if so, I would need to know your names/nicknames/aliases/ninja identities! For some reason I keep hearing the Mortal Kombat theme where the fighter's names are shouted out one by one... lol that would be cool >>>C.A.P. Music Page<<<

x2 on that you're off to a great start with the equipment there
-
Well this was just a mini-meet, we would really like to plan something bigger like we had last year, with the great turnout we had. The problem is finding a date that is good for everybody. Maybe we can shoot for June again? That would give everyone a few months to plan some time off or what not. Hugo's setup really is amazing... In the backseat you can feel the movement on as little as 5Hz Jay-Cee - I'm going to be in Dallas around the first of May... but... I probably won't have my car, I'm going with a friend of mine who's celebrating her birthday and she's driving

Fixed. And I told that kid to buy some Funky Pups

Another Toyota mishap... at my apartment complex

Yeah our maintenance man was out there boarding it up right after it happened. I was going to take a few bricks to chock my wheels for an oil change but they told me they needed to wait for the insurance adjuster before I could touch anything lol -
Ok... well I've had my iPod for about 4 years now, and have never really used the syncing feature (call me a control freak or whatever, I just like to control what gets transferred and when). Now, in an effort to keep things more organized, I've started Syncing. However... when I add a few new songs to the iTunes Library, and click "Sync", it completely erases everything on the iPod and systematically copies it all back onto it. I don't understand why it's doing this at all as it's already done this once and is registered to this copy of iTunes. There's an option to only copy certain playlists, but this does no good it just erases everything else and re-copies the selected playlists onto the device. Am I doin something wrong here? Thanks guys
