yea like he said. early in the morning its colder and your volts stay higher when its colder. as your car warms up and it gets hotter outside the volts will drop. -
9887 vs Pioneer 710BT?
iputon326 replied to sl33py's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Sorry i wasn't clear. Looking for the best HU between these. I like the iPod controls of the 710, not sure about the 9887's ipod control. I haven't used BT on either, but would want it. Not the only criteria. Overall SQ, ease of use, quality/speed/ease of ipod control, and quality of BT sound for handsfree. Hope that helps clarify. THanks for the help M5! also - your sig pic is a bit distracting...love it! i have a 9886 and i didnt like the ipod control when i first started using it. i didnt really like how the HU controlled the ipod. i would have rather used the ipod to look through the music. it doesnt bother me now though. i actually like it. -
Nice thats what i like to hear, yes i would like the plans for your box if you dont mind. and the car its going in is a 2000 Chevy Malibu not a huge trunk but i hope its big enough for 1 15" Thanks alot buddy first thing u should is measure and get the dimensions from your trunk. that way we can see how many cubes your working with. the bl doesn't require that big of a box so if you build the box right its gona fit in your trunk. you can go to re audio and on there they have a box calculator so you can build your own box. just measure first then we can help you with the rest. also tell us what you want your box tuned to. im not to sure what i want my box tuned to i never built a box up to these specs..... iv only made small boxes with 3" circle ports i took off another box..... so any advice you can give me would be great. Thanks well i have my boxed tuned to 32 hz. ive had two boxes. the first was tuned to 34 hz. the second one is tuned to 32 hz. i like the second box waaay better. it gets low and still hits the highs. the lower u tune the box the better it picks up the lows.

your doing a good job of making everyone not want to help you at all. people on the forum kid around and if you cant take it then stop posting. your just making it worse by arguing with everyone. if you've been into car audio for 20 years how do you have no idea that under powering a sub is perfectly fine? Asking if it was ok to underpower the sub wasn't the question douchebag!! Way to twist my words around. Some subs don't come alive until a certain power point and that is what I wanted to know. I have heard decent things about the Fi Q and was wondering what the deal was with them. To tell you the truth, I heard their customer service is horrible, and now to see their forum members are a bunch of class d rocking douchebags....I think I will go with the incriminator audio Flatlynes. I have heard none of Fi subs can even compare and the price difference is minimal. well im glad you know how this forum works as well. the people answering all your questions are not just from an FI forum. if you asked the same question about the flatlynes in the incriminator section the same people would be answering your qestions.

i say use the saz. its a good amp. y dont u hook up the 1500d and see which one u like better.
-
Ok which amp is the best outta these few?
iputon326 replied to forsellb's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
also is the 3500D underrated? Should I expect around 4kw or 3500-3800kw? All Sundown amps are underrated, your making this amp selection process harder than it has to be. Whomever your listening to about the information their giving you about the efficiency of an amp at 4ohms when you wont even use it at that ohm load should not be listened too. I think you may need to start at a lower power level amp. What equipment are you using, what electrical upgrades are you gonna do or have done? Im going to do the big 3 with a 220a alt, and two HC2400 batteries, plus the 3500D and two BTL 12s.. Makes sense to me, and the guy was a friend who I trust but yea, hes wrong on that one part I guess huh.. do you know exactly what the big 3 is? you seemed confused when it was mentioned before. -
he definitely does. hes still young and improving. the raiders d line was doing a good job and it helped him a lot.

on FI's site it says 5-8 cubes each. so i wouldnt go lower then 5 cubes.
