No, if you look at they're spec sheets from the amps and subs today most of them state a frequency response. The type r 8's alone reproduce down to 30hz and alot of the larger subs have an FS below 30hz.

I ordered a 10 D2. 10' ram crew cab with nice shaggy black carpeted box strapped behind center counsel over tranny hump. Stock highs but they're 6 way system 1" tweets top of dash firing at windsheild 6x9s in front doors and 5.25's in the back crossed over for strictly midbass - highs are all front stage and it sounds nice. Looking to beat on that GCON tho. With moderocacy doe.

There isn't much of a gain running from 1500 to 2k at all. On a side note, I tried a fully loaded daily bl 12 on my 2200 and it took it like a champ. Loud sub!
