Test it and monitor your voltage. If you see major voltage drops then add another batt. But what you have should be enough.

Wow those look great! Always like Denon products.

I have had experience with both drivers and the SSD hands down was a better sounding driver. -

Better contact PWK then.

I would say yes very much so. He has his own calculator that he utilizes along with Sketchup. PM your wants and needs and he will be very accommodating and timely.

Gotta love the wave flex that a camera makes it look like.

Sensitivity Spec in Car Audio : Hoffmans Iron Law Discussion

Great read! Thank you -
That's a good thing since the Sundowns don't break that often. But then again it does stink when you cannot get a deal on a great amp. Nice amp Nem!

Looks interesting! Another Brazilian small footprint amplifier ftw.

Setting Gain on SAZ-1500d V.2

I prefer to use a 60-80hz tone when using the DMM method. You will not see a constant 4 volt output on your deck so I wouldn't worry to much about that. Use your ear as well to listen for stress in the subwoofer and a voltage gauge to monitor your battery voltage. -
You may want to consider the IA Death Row or Death Penalty series. My 18" DR is a low end beast, with a tight accurate transient attack that I prefer and I'm tuned to 37hz. A lot great options out there. The Zv.2 is a beefier, louder subwoofer than the Zv.1.

I think the XCONS will definitely fit the bill covering the low's your looking for while handling the power fine. 3 tens may pose an odd impedance for your amplifier. In the past I always went with either a pair of 10" or 12" in trunk applications.

ID makes great product and those subs are probably 20 years old. As far as being weak that is not fair as they are nothing like today's high power built drivers. Those are built for sq only. If your looking for bass pass on these and follow Shizzzon advice. Still a great buy on some classic ID subs.

A lot of choices out there, choose wisely grasshopper. A Sundown SAX-1200D matched with any of the higher power handling 15" from the SSA Store would be a great combination. Easy on the electrical as well.
