I think we can all agree that it doesn't matter what brand they all will have issues at one time or another. Just the nature of electronics when they want to fail they fail. -

Not everybody is in the comp scene so the need for protection is provided for daily applications. As far as prices go the Crescendo linup is very attractive I must say. Critical Mass? I have yet to understand why they have such a high price tag. When it came to running a low impedance, competition burp system the SAZ-1500Dv.1 (is) was a beast and very reliable. -
I have 2 SA-15 D4 running off 1 Sundown SAX-1200D and it is pretty impressive for the amount of power. No need to run that much power on a daily type system.

Tell that to those who are having trouble with the SAE1200v2. Just saying. That is the one exception or 2nd considering it's the v.2. I think that is why Sundown discontinued them. The SAZ and SAX lines are proven as top notch performers. Not saying the Crescendos won't be -

As Jon stated, the 5 minute epoxy is a great option.

All install dependant! The JL Audio W7 should not be mentioned in the same sentence with SPL, not what it was designed to do. The BL in a properly aligned ported enclosure will have the capability to be the loudest. But it comes down to install and vehichle acoustics can play into this as well.

Glues can be found here and for shims depending on the manufacturer and gap size, you could use a manilla envelope and cut it into strips or I have seen some use plastic strips cut from a "For Sale" sign.

Are you still making these alts? I will be interested soon for my 1998 GMC 5.0L I could not find these on the site as everytime I clicked the link it lead me to the bracket only.

Hahaha I feel you on the 45 degree strike! I am patiently waiting for it to warm up so I can do some glass work on my doors. Keep the pics coming! I really enjoy seeing your work!

I am really liking the (old school big band - Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker) that Sean recommended. Oh yea I like the old big band jazz as well. Just something about the mood atmosphere and passion of the music that draws me to it. It's a nice change from my regular daily listening choices. My music tastes are growing and now with pandora I can try lots of different styles. Pandora is great. Seems like the older I get the more refined my musical tastes evolve. I had Big Band Jazz on at home and my wife was like "What Are You Listening To" lol.
